If you started out on JSL, you'll have a fine time. If you tested into this class like I did, you'll have a rough time. Get used to the teaching style ASAP and you should be ok. Iwami is kinda hard to approach, but she's allright.

Very personable-often recalls things that specific people in the class said or tried 2 help with discussions in class-she always gives handouts for FACT classes so that we can spend more time listening than having 2 take notes-when u make a mistake...she makes it funny so that ur not afraid 2 try new approaches, but still expects you 2 do it right

Well, before she was much much worse but now that she has had a kid she is better. There really is no way to express it, except to say that when she walks in the room there is a lot of tension! If you say something wrong, she will look at you, like you are an idiot or like a dog cocking its head thinking...I don't know what you just said.

By far the least helpful instructor I've ever had. Very bad about singling people out unfairly. I had to study 3 hours a day just to get a B) Sure I learned the material, but only because I was required to study hard. Study equally with another teacher and you'll get better understanding/grades
