Her teaching style is a little different but she's tons of fun and I'm always engaged in class. Homework is super tedious and the material is hard but she's easy to talk to and puts effort into helping you if you reach out to her. quizzes are also very straight forward. sweetest lady ever

She goes over the grammar points only after you do the homework for it beforehand which doesn't really make sense to me. Also, when we are translating, she doesn't really clearly explain the most confusing sentences and has the students do the work. She is an easy grader though and her tests are straightforward. Put in the time and you can get an A

She's really nice and sometimes funny, but I spent A LOT of time studying for this class. And I still did bad. 301 and 302 is mainly Kanji n translating readings, and that's what killed me. Also a crap load of hw and quizzes like any normal lang. class.

Baxer's pretty easygoing, she tries to accomodate the classes needs and though there's a lot of work, she's flexible about when you hand it in. But don't take advantage! There are frequent quizzes and you must put in the time studying. If you miss a quiz she's good about letting you make it up. She wants you to learn, and her class can be fun too.

Probably the easiest Japanese teacher to relate to in my experience so far. Had her for Conv/Culture too. A bit vague and unorganized. Make sure to double check things with her. Tests can be difficult but are curved. Still need to study for significant amount of hours to do well. Overall a very nice person who is interested in sharing her culture.
