This is an warning - think carefully to take this class. I don't doubt his knowledge about his field. But he is really BAD AT TEACHING. There is no organization in teaching just pounces around whatever whenever he noticed something. I aced in 2170 as the class is pretty easy. but not this one. I can keep going but no space. DONT TAKE HIS CLASS

He is not a good professor. At all. He is not structured, he comes to class unprepared. Tests and quizzes are random. The problem is, either way you will end up with him because of the limited number of profs teaching this class. I would highly recommend group study sessions outside of class. That helped me understand the class and with the grades.

Where do I begin? 1. spends 10 mins explaining to talk to his TA if we have issues with our grades (Really? He's in charge of my freakin' grade!) 2. It's really hard to understand him with his accent 3. He just scribbles makes no sense to what he is saying 4. Keeps saying VERY SIMPLE when we don't understand IF you can avoid him, DO IT.

Dr. Rajaei is a very nice and respectable person. He really cares about his students and genuinely tries to be a good teacher. The problem is that he fails. He is, unfortunately, a very bad teacher in the most respectable sense. Lectures bounce around with no direction, he has poor knowledge of the material, and is unable to answer any question.

It isn't like he isn't nice... It's just that he stands up in front of us and reads us the book. But not the whole book, just pieces. His first language is not English, and his accent is very difficult to understand. You have to read the book and study hard to pass. Attendance is required, but I fell asleep in every class.

Attendance is mandatory, but the class period is very dry and boring. Need to study to work for a good grade. Quizes and Exams arent hard, but arent easy. Assignments are easy, and easy points. He offers extra credit for the people who go to class and do the work. Dont need the book, but go to class.

His English is not terrible but HORRIBLE. No, he can't answer your questions & had no clue what he was talking abt, b/c he can't understand your questions at all. Study his courses by yourself & do what he wants exactly, although sometimes he doesn't know what he really wants from you. yes, if u r a girl, take his classes. He's super nice to girls.

Im not sure what class this instructor usually teaches, but it is obviously not this one. He seems to have no clue what he is talking about because he cant answer anyones questions. Aside form his poor organization and limited explanation of the material, his english is very poor. Steer clear of this professor if possible.

English obviously isnt his second language, but he gets his point across despite. The material was a bit difficult, but if you read and understand the text you should do fine. If it doesn't make sense, go to him during his office hours. He is extremely willing to help, at least if you attend class and aren't a slacker.

I thought this class was pretty hard. I think one of the things that saved my grade was all the extra credit opportunities he gave. He was very helpful when I had questions. I think it would have helped if I had taken CS 201 before hand.

Always will help you if you need it. Sometimes boring but you try to teach c++ any better. All and all a good teacher. Gives a lot of extra credit too.

I passed the class with an A because I can think logically and took Cs101 which made the class easier. HORRIBLE English skills also his example code and assignment sheets often contain errors which make the class even harder. CS majors have confirmed he horrible at teaching lower classes. [201]
