Comment:
I'm a really hands on person and lecture was very different to me. Regardless, Professor Delgado would keep his audience very engaged by asking their outlook on a subject. I'm the worst (I MEAN THE WORST) test taker and this class only consist of 3 test/1 essay. Either way, he cared about how his students did and was very helpful and interesting.

He is okay, but he can be a hard grader. His lectures are straight from the book, few 2 page papers , book analysis, and 3 exams. The more you write on the exams the more a better grade you'll receive ( thats what I've noticed) . Don't expect him to give you a B if you're at 79.9 :/. I personally wouldn't take him again. Not an intriguing class.

This class isn't that bad. No homework and like one or two papers and two tests. I rented the books and ended up not needing any of them as all the topics assigned for the papers were self explanatory.

I took Delgado for social class and inequality, latino experience, and intro to sociology. He doesn't give much homework, readings are usually novels not textbooks. His tests are generally essays, as long as you grasp the info, you'll do fine. Lectures are long but uses documentaries etc that are cool. Show up, listen, participate- you'll do fine!

I've taken professor Delgado for Latino Experience and Race & Ethnicity, and they were both really easy classes. He lectures the entire time but there's rarely any homework n the tests are a piece of cake! His study guides are so precise and detailed so as long as you put in the effort to review your notes and the book, you're guaranteed to pass.

Obscenely boring. The lectures are long, unorganized, uninteresting, and rarely related to test material. He talks to pass the time. There is nothing substantial for you to write down, and nothing to take from the lecture. In 1 hour 10 minutes, you will wonder how on Earth he talked about 15 random, unrelated topics. Easy class, but excrutiating.

he was all right but sometimes you got confused and lost, he's not that helpful, not very approachable, beleivees that he is always right, open for suggestions, but mind is made up, he's not that hard you have to make sure you are reading though, there's no other way to pass the test, listening skills are number one in his classes because he lectures a lot.

SOOOOOOOOOOO boring!!! i took him for latino experience and i wanted to shoot myself everytime i even thought about going. he requires a lot of reading (which i didnt do... i got a b) and hes so monotone. he is somewhat difficult (although i didnt think it was that much of a challenge) and his teaching style is just too boring to stomach
