Knowledgable about theatre okay kind of class. Can be very cold, & rude. After theatre History---didn't want to work w/him in classes such as advance acting or directing. Out of left field & w/out any provacation, had my fill when he embarassed me in front of the class for a nasty comment.

Hank was an amusing and relatively easy teacher. I took his intro to the Theatre class. He had all of the notes on slides, which was super easy. We had to write 2 critiques throughout the semester, both for grossmont productions, which we were required to attend. The tests weren't too hard, he would basically tell us what we need to know for it.

Excellent Professor. You will learn cool words like Scaramouche, even if you don't know how to spell them. This Professor is hilarious at times and also is serious about everything related to theatre, he demonstrates an amazing attention to explaining details about plays, playwrights, eras, etc.

He is extremely BORING. I do not reccommend the class, yesterday 5 students including myself, were drifting off into sleep. His lectures feel useless, all we do is take notes. Soooooooo Dull.

DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! I never once used it. You take notes from the over-head everyday and listen to his lame stories about the famous people he knows. Everything on the slides are on the 4 tests you will take throughout. You also have to write 2 theatre critiques for performances you have to pay to see. There is no homework, but its a boring class.

At first this class seemed like it would be enjoyable, but I soon realized all that mattered were the overhead notes and remembering historical names and dates. No book reading and only 2 homework assignments (essays about plays you have to see at school) Didn't learn much and he is VERY strict on attendance. Miss class and he will drop you.

Hank knows a lot, and he has some great stories. The only probablem I had was that he didn't grade our papers fairly. I had a BA degree before his class, I knew how to write a paper, but he gave nobody an A, he admitted that. I did learn a lot though.

Hank is an odd man. his teaching style is entertaining and great, but he is awful and unreasonable when administering and grading tests and papers. his whole intro class is remembering who wrote what play, and there's much to rem. im sure he is a fine actor, but he is far from my favorite professor.

Mr. Jordan is a really good teacher. He is so funny and especially dramatic. He is a wonderful actor. He really needs to have three exams for a 3 unit class. It makes it harder to get a good grade,but otherwise I really enjoyed this class, and learned alot about different plays.

Hank is an awsome teacher and director. I have had the pleasure of taking 4 classes with him so far and also stage managing a couple of his shows. He will make you laugh till you are in tears and perform for you daily,+gotta love the khaki pants every day
