Comment:

She is a great professor! Gives you everything you need for class including printed out notes and worksheets. She explains things pretty well and wants tot make sure you understand. However doesnt give homework so not a lot of practice. Quiz and Test are not bad! Quizzes online and use notes. Tests are multiple choice.

Comment:

Uses lots of outside data that she collected in the exercise science field through different colleges and through working at the Olympics, so that makes the class more "real world" oriented. She wrote her own textbook and is available on Canvas because she hates how expensive textbooks are and how they're laid out.

I LOVE HER! I would take every class from her if I could! I wish I could do a mind-meld with her, because she is so knowledgeable! With that said, there are not many points available in her classes, but the tests are straightforward, so if you study the notes she gives in class, you'll do great!

Jeni is challenging, however she puts forth as much effort in teaching/creating the class as she expects from her students to learn the material. She is great help if you are confused. Don't waste her time if you haven't tried the work yourself. She will not hold your hand but definitely help you learn.

Jeni is very knowledgeable and passionate about her content areas. She has high expectations and believes everyone should meet them. VERY HARD! She is more into coaching gymnastics then being a professor. She covers way to much information in ten weeks. A quote from her, "we are covering information in one hour that usually takes 2 to 3 weeks"-I am not kidding. She is super difficult, never available, and does make you feel stupid. Unfortunately, there isn't much of a choice.

Very knowledgeable, very eager to help outside of class(provided she is not out on an adventure). Not sure how she makes people feel stupid or doesn't answer questions. The class covers a lot of info, but I was able to get a 3.9 with no prior anatomy classes. Provides thorough notes and study guides.

Great teacher. She really knows what she is talking about. She expects a lot out of you but if you take notes on her lectures you will do fine. All of the information is very clear. The labs are very fun and interesting as well.

Thinks she has some sort of influence in our academic careers yet knows that all her class is is a bunch of regurgitation. No variance in grading, strictly test all though none of what is taught will ever be recycled onto paper in the real world. Make information more applicable.

I was interested in the labs, and in the class, but the tests totally sucked. They were comprised entirely of math problems...I felt completely unprepared for so much math. Also on blackboard my final grade was much higher than the grade I actually received. What's with that?
