To this day I can honestly say that Hovick is the best teacher I've ever had. The first day of class he told us that he would use chalk only and no technology, and thats exactly what he did...black and white, good old fashioned teaching.

I LOVED THIS PROFESSOR! I had him in summer school and everything was clear. He wears nothing but shorts and his lab coat. His is a Michigan Fan but somethings can be over looked!!! LOL

Very nice guy with a weird sense of humor! Well try to help with any problems you have. Tests are not too bad, some can be tricky. Just do the problems of the day and you'll do fine.

If you can go to two lectures, I'd recommend going to 1, taking the million and one notes, then going to a 2nd and just listening. His tests are directly from the POD's... do them and you'll do good. He will not spoon feed you though!!

Very good teacher. He was so willing to help anyone who needed it. You will have POD's to do outside of class. he teaches so well that i was able to do every problem and understand it and i never made less than a 91 on a test...came out with an A because of how well he teaches. He is one of the best professors in the chemistry department.

Dr. Hovick is the best! I dont mind taking chemistry anymore because I actually understand it. He will always take the time to work with his students so they could get the best grades possible. HE NEEDS TO TEACH ORGANIC!
