Be sure to do the assigned homework (not graded) and study guides, which are usually harder than the tests. The extra credit assignments are from the book's chapter reviews. This class is definitely a college course; nothing is spoon-fed to the students, you need to study and show up to class. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to her accent. :)

This is not high school. This is a college Trig class and it acts that way. There is a LOT of material that gets covered in a relatively short amount of time. Do your homework (not graded) and take advantage of the extra credit she does give even if it's not much and you will do fine in this class. Be prepared to take a LOT of notes.

Learn from my mistake. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS INSTRUCTOR! She will ruin your G.P.A. This is by far the WORST CLASS I have taken at OCC. I am a current student of Ms. Pospelova. You might as well take her tests blind because she tests on material that is not in the text or covered in her notes and her reviews for exams are a mess!

Very fast, it's two classes in one. You will cover 11 chapters. If you go over the study guide and know them very well you will do fine on the exam. You must already have a good understanding of precalc. and trig. to do well in the class, the material cannot be new. There is extra credit.

I took her over the summer and it was a terrible experience. 4 hours twice a week. Each 4 our class is about a chapter so if you get lost in the beginning of class then you def. wont get the end.

she goes very very fast. don't even bother asking for an explanation, her answers are anything but easy to follow. if you're gonna take this class, you're gonna have to do all the work on your own because the lectures really aren't very helpful. the tests are pretty hard too and very long, but the final is what saved my grade.

Russian accent. Speaks very fast, teaches very fast. Unclear, and class is SOOO Extremely Boring!!! She says she HAS TO teach the ENTIRE BOOK, because the class is transferable. What? I've had my share of math teachers and she is by far the worst. Beware!!!

Difficult to understand lectures with accent. Prof. gets offended if you ask a question about anything in the class. Gives poor examples and usually gives the wrong answers on the pre test study guide. very poor overall. would not recommend. strated with 40 plus students in the class and ended up with 12 students passing the class.
