Comment:

The class itself is very easy to get an A in. You have to come to class because she does take attendance. There are pop quizzes but she gives warning. The tests are easy. The simulation is stupid. The only complaint about her is if you ask a question or dont understand something, she makes you feel stupid.

Comment:

class can get boring but she is a nice teacher. you have average three assignments to finish by end of each week. going to class matters. I didnt go often and still ended with a good grade but it really helps to go if you can. the simulation SUCKS. it is the final as well so it was nerve wracking. didnt learn enough from the sim to be worth it.

Comment:

She is nice enough, until you're bold enough to ask questions, her claws come out. I do like the fact that she encouraged us to read the Wall Street Journal. But other than that, the simulation was just dumb, no one understood it. It literally did not make sense and if you asked she would just tell you to tutorial and re-watch/read it again.

She is a very caring, sweet women, but I feel like she picks favorites. If you are on her good side then she is an awesome professor. If you are on her bad side or don't participate a lot then she may make you feel stupid while answering a question. I personally loved her. Easy A as well!

Professor Flomm had a bad habit of making students feel stupid when questions were asked. She would stop her lecture, huff, and answer like the answer was the most obvious thing in the world. Coming to class would be completely unnecessary if she didn't take attendance. The quizzes are laughably easy, and the homework is a no-brainer, if tedious.

the class was fairly easy. I never read the chapters, but passed most test. The Capsim Simulation is trash & terrible. It is a waste of time. The class is easy if you show up and turn in the online assignment on time. She is rude when you ask questions & doesn't communicate well. I never took notes showed up to every class to sign in - got an A+

So with Professor Flom she is a helpful and funny teacher. For this class I thought she did quizzes like once a month it seemed like well there was a simulation and as long as your working and understanding the practice simulation you should be fine. It was pretty easy for me. I liked her

Online assignments are part of participation points and are very easy, they will boost up your grade as well as attendance so make sure you complete them & show up to class. There are "pop" quizzes that she lets you know when they are which are 25 points but pretty easy. The simulation is very hard but are for completion points as long as you try

She's kind of scary. She kind of makes you feel inferior for asking questions because "you should have read the chapter" but she wasn't awful. I ended up liking her. I think she could really have organized her class differently, but it was alright. Just make sure you speak up and read the chapters if you take her class. Also beware of hw due @ noon

I really enjoyed this class. Pretty easy for the most part. Lectures can be boring, but she really tries hard to make things easily understood. She's a good choice for a professor, however, it's intimidating to ask questions in her class.

Flom is very passionate about business. I really enjoyed her personality and the lectures felt more like an open discussion than lecture-y. She is a bit sassy when answering questions. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIMULATION. It's important to go to class. There was no cumulative final, just 3 quizzes throughout the semester, online hw was simple.

Like everyone said in pervious posts, she does respond to questions rudely a lot of the time. Capsim is easy to understand as long as you try to understand it. I learned a lot from her and I would reccomend her. Easy A if you put in the work she asks for.

the class was easy enough. she doesn't post grades all semester, but she's willing to tell you how you're doing. she expects you to read and takes attendance, but they're not mandatory. she gives "pop quizzes" but typically warns you in the class beforehand. lectures can be boring, but she shows videos often.

The pop quizzes she gives aren't really a surprise because she tells you when they are. The Capsim simulation isn't as bad as people say it is, because your'e not really graded on how you do. Just finish the hw and Capsim on time and you'll get a good grade. The teacher is very condescending and gets flustered when someone asks a question.

She gives pop quizzes, but usually drops a hint that she is going to give one soon. If you want to know your grade you have to go to her office hours. She doesn't really help you very much so you are on your own learning a business simulation that is difficult to understand. If you know what you are doing you will pass with a good grade.

Comment:

The professor is very nice and says hello as she enters classroom. The classroom seems to be a bit difficult to accomplish because you will expect to do alot of homework, as well as studying for quizzes as well. You will have to do the MyBiz lab and Capsim as homework, and quizzes can either be announced or unnannounced. Skips some lecture slides.
