Had him twice, same structure: copy everything he writes on the board...don't buy the book...most of the time he lets you use your notes on tests and quizzes. The notes for GEOSC 020 and GEOG 010 are the same, so save them if you're taking both. Easy A. Nice guy as long as you act interested and if you are late, I highly recommend you DO NOT GO.

This guy cares more about you being to class on time than actually teaching you. You'll end up skipping his 8 am classes when you're running a few minutes late to avoid his "evil stare." And considering the course work is so easy, it's a shame your grade reflects missing classes, not your education

Great teacher. Knows this stuff better than the back of his hand. Asset to PSB. A shame that he is retiring. Clear in his delivery and doesn't act like he has to maintain a C average for his students to be a good teacher. I got a lot from the class, and was uninterested in the subject matter.

nice guy, but way, way too easy for a college course. I took another geo course after I transferred to Pitt, and nearly flunked. Using your notes for tests and even having open book tests is NOT good prep for the future, trust me.
