One of the most comfy classes I had in college. You get to have a good time talking about how weirdly drawn artworks have a deeper meaning to them. Just write a few papers and you'll be set. Would absolutely recommend if you need the humanities credits.

He can be boring to listen to, but there's a quiz a week which is the only day you really need to go to class; he gives you the answers to the quiz. All papers can be rewritten as many times until you get the grade you want. Before the midterm go to office hours and he'll help you do well. Final isn't mandatory if you have a certain amount of pts

Dr. Snapper is absolutely fantastic. He goes over the answers to quizzes before you turn them in and you can re-write your papers until you receive a decent grade. On top of all of this, he's funny and his class is very informative

Class was aesthetics. He taught art history instead. Really missed out on the intended subject. He was good with what he did do though. Enjoyed the lectures, even if they were on the wrong topic.

The Snapper that I know is named John, but so far he's awesome. Teaches a mean class-you hardly notice those 75 minutes go by.

Snapper is one of the coolest profs at IIT. He comes off as a smartass (which he is), but he loves to teach and loves to learn. Holds a quiz every Wednesday, and goes over it in class before you turn it in. Watch your words - if it's a stupid comment, you just may get made fun of. =)

Best Professor I have ver had. Class is easy. Teacher knows what he is teaching and he is very interested in it. If you come to class and take notes you will get an A easy. 5 short papers (700 words). Two easy tests. If you show up this will be the easiest class you take.

Amazing.....we kept a journal every week about the lectures. He commented on them every week and returned them. Sort of a way to communicate with every student. This was his basis of grading (extremely lenient). Great Prof

Absolutely loved Snapper's class. He's very entertaining, welcomes discussion of the philosophical works in question (even better if you start comparing with other philosophers), and he has the worst mouth I've ever heard. If you've seen Boondock Saints, there's a scene in there that "...certainly illustrates the versatility..." of Snapper's mouth. He'll talk about anything in class after class for hours if you both have the time. Incredible memory too. If you've not met Snapper, you need to!

Best professor at the school! He grades easy, if you go to classes and do all the papers (which you can rewrite) you'll probably get an A. He knows the stuff, and is truly interested in what he teaches. Love him!!!

Brilliant Guy, knows a lot of stuff. His grading scheme is great -- he'll let you rewrite an essay and even then, there's low standards on that (he doesn't want to take away from your other classes -- take this to heart ;) ) And always has something interesting to say. Good prof.
