Comment:
Professor Dowling is one of the nicer teachers I've had but does not do a very good job making the information interesting. She doesn't seem like she enjoys the information herself. However if you do what is asked of you, you can get away with getting a good grade while being able to focus on some of the more critical classes to your college career

Comment:
Professor Dowling is sweet but is a really tough grader. Exams are open book, but can be very tricky. Class is very dense, material is boring, and there are only two tests to get graded from (midterm and final).

This is a very difficult class of it's own accord no matter what teacher, but the group projects are pretty intimidating since you don't know who you'll be grouped with. The test is open book so you definitely should get it. It's a very tough test despite that though. She's well-intended as a teacher. Always willing to extend nursing school tips.

Good professor although it is a hard class. Three group projects with randomly selected people which I find difficult to rely on other people for my own grade. Tests are somewhat difficult even with an allowed open book.

I found her very snobish over students especially those whom english is their second language. Gave me a very bad grade on my paper and did not give me a chance to learn and know what i did wrong. She was too biased on me and i felt mistreated and lost an opportunity to learn.

Dr. Dowling enjoys teaching about children and how to care for them. She listens and offers assistance when asked or needed. She taught me to look beyond the medical diagnosis to see the child.

Comment:
Dr. Dowling is very disrespectful to both students and other staff. She feels that she is better than everyone. She is unclear in her speech and seems to teach based on how she raised her son.
