Jagg really cares about her work and her student's. That's why she won't take bull from any of us. Her style was hard to get used to, but once you understand how her class works it's a really valuable experiance.

Entertaining and probably a great journalist to work with in the real world, but not necessarily teaching material. She had no clue about cameras, computers or any of the equipment we had to use. Only clear about one thing: deadlines, which were pretty tight. Wanted our lives to revolve around her class. Plays favorites, loves goofs.

Jagg is one of the best instructors I've had in a long time. I disagree with the other guy who said she loves everything; that's not the case... she's just really nice about her criticism. But it is there if you listen, which is good. One of the things that impressed me most about Jagg is her dedication to her job. She truly hlpd. Vry fun prsn!

Nice. Flaky. Kooky. A great person and very encouraging, but lacking in criticism. We're months away from being in the real world, yet she praised crap and stuff that would never fly in a real newsroom. Hard to get excited about this class AFTER being on internship.

Jagg was a definite change from the teaching styles of Mark Bulgutch. Nice, friendly, strange fashion sense. Didn't really encourage me to do the best work possible, but a pleasant prof who (appeared) genuinely interested in her students.

I love her. She's great. I feel important & loved again. The quality of my work improved because of her. Criticism is never personal with her. She'll criticize the work (sometimes even laugh)but she teaches how to improve and leaves the personal attacks for others - like Kelman or something.

Wow, the most positive and encouraging journalism professor I've had. She single-handedly turned around years of disappointment with the program in just a matter of weeks. We need more profs who encourage us to grow and take risks, rather than cut us down
