I took this class as an English Education major only because I took the Intro to Earth course and got so much out of it. He is tremendously helpful if you just ask. I went up to his office a few times bc I needed help on a few things. If you're a skate through student (why the hell are you there then) forget it. Clear, interesting, knowledgeable.

hardest professor ever. skipped half of what was on the slide and unless you sat in the front row you couldn't hear that well. i got a tutor for this class and even the tutor had no idea what this man was talking about. hardest quizzes of your life

get out of this class while you still can! worst teacher i have ever had. the material presented is easy but the exams are nearly impossible. the tests average is low and he does not curve. he cancels class often and expects you to know what to study. on top of all this, he is impossible to approach for advice.

This could quite possibly be the worst teacher I have ever come across. First of all his lectures are extremely dry and hard to follow. He spends the entire class showing a slide show with information that you most likely not even see on the tests. The tests are EXTREMELY hard and tricky. I have spent hours upon end studying and still do horrible.

If Science is hard for you, he makes it so simple. He explains it in such a way that it makes sense in the basic way. He uses props at times and always says "think about it" and you will really know it. only 4 test which is rough. He shows such enthusiasm and passion for what he is teaching. u will love it.

I took this class for a Gen-ed requirement and it was a complete waste of time. His lectures are deceptively easy and his tests are unfair for an intro level course. If you do take the course, make a friend who will take your clicker to class and help get the free points or go to the class and just read the chapter there.

Worst teacher I've ever had. Bases the entire grade on tests. Tests are extremely hard and lectures are boring. He uses the iClicker thing which I needed his help registering and he kept putting me off so I fell behind in getting his in class points. Stupid man, don't take this class with him.

the worst possible professor you can have. AVOID THIS CLASS AND PROFESSOR. he talks about nothing in class tells you to read the corresponding textbook chapter. but its not and you dont know whats going on have the time. tests are impossible and so hard to study for too. the class average for each test was basically failing almost every test.

This guy is horrible avoid him at all costs, he's only interested in his lectures, his tests are really hard and doesn't hand them back so you can study from them, and the $150 textbook is totally worthless, i had a 90 in this science in HS but now i have a 64 which is like 2 points higher than the class average. if you have him drop the class now!
