I am a science senior and he is the worst professor I have ever had. Don't ever take him. He seems friendly but is extremely disorganized and attempted to discuss individual students grades and gpa's via email and in class. He can't explain what he's doing in the problem, ever. No help at all when you ask him a question.

worst prof ever. seriously. his grading is so messed up. if you miss a pop quiz your grade goes down a full letter. he is so unclear, students often have to correct mistakes while he's doing problems on the board. he doesn't help the kids that don't get it. and, he also reads your grades out loud. he is annoying and always lets our class out late.

Great teacher! he really cares about his students and scheduled reviews before tests. there's 5 test not including the final and he drops the lowest test grade :) he has pop quizes once in a while but they are the exact homework problems. go to class do the homework and you'll do fine. i got d's in algebra in high school and got a b.

Take him..Its very easy only if you apply yourself. James makes you learn because he gives pop quizes and that keeps you on top of your homework problems because the quiz is the homework problems he is very fair grader and his test a short only about 10 question and the final was open book!!! Easy, Easy, EASY

He's such a NICE man. He's very helpful, a lot of people say he goes fast through his lectures, but you just have to pay attention, and if you don't understand something he is more than happy to help you. His quizzies and tests are easy if you study and do the hw, overall, great class. You don't have to take the final if you have an A average!

I had this prof for college algebra and his class for business math is just the same way in how he teaches. He drops the lowest test score, 20% of grade are from quizzes which are right from the homework so if you do the homework and understand it ur good there. Attendence is initialing a paper. He has review sessions before every test. Easy Prof

He is fair, and does a decent job at teaching the material. However, please do the homework. Quizzes were easy to somewhat difficult [as were tests], but he is fair and appears to know what is doing. However, he should consider stopping more often when the class gets lost.
