Very difficult class because of his style, not the material. If you don't mind some major independence with the text book and teaching yourself, go for it. Definetly avoid if possible. Extremely smart man, fun to talk to.

STUDY HOMEWORK!!! That's all. Very unclear teacher, and doesn't speak up. Homework problems will be the only thing on the test, and the tests are most of the grade. (EZ labs!! to help)You can tell he knows what he's talking about, but no one else does. Ask how he grades - for us it was 85 and up is an A. This is a saving grace.

This is absolutely the worst teacher I have had in my 4 years at sms! he made me cry and not so directly told a girl she was stupid in front of the class. He is a nasty old man who does not care about any student. Do not take him. If you have to,have a tutor or vial of cyanide available. Do homework, as that is all the tests consist of!

Ugg this guy CAN NOT TEACH. He is as others have said undoubtably brilliant, but i dont understand a damn thing he is trying to tell me. Do not take this teacher if you can avoid him! I am now looking to either drop this class change sections or teach myself.

A good/great teacher is defined as one who can cause a student to understand. A good/great teacher explains everything clearly, logically, and aggresively pursues any confusion the student might have. Broerman is the opposite of this.
