Comment:

Nice guy in general but does not do well with staying on track in the course. It was difficult to grasp what we were supposed to be learning with his teaching style. When he did explain a concept, he explained fairly well. The trouble is getting him to actually talk about the material.

I took this class on-line. He was always very helpful and always offered to help if he noticed I hadn't taken my tests on time. It is hard work and lots of math, but it's college so you shouldn't really expect it to be a cake walk. If you can't devote a substantial amount of time, then don't take the class.

Absolute horrible teacher! The other reviewers were right, do not take him at any cost!!!!! Go to Lake Land Or Parkland if you can. The material isn't horrible but the professor isn't the best at instructing anything. Worst part about it is that anytime you ask for help he gives you the "Why are you wasting my time look."

Great professor, makes himself available to help you out. I've never had any trouble understanding him, he tends to make more sense than the book. Also, he tends to grade on a curve, or otherwise bend the grades in your favor.

Lots of homework, but goes over every problem and hands out packets that explain how to solve them. He's very clear, I don't know why someone said he had a lisp... Anyway, he explains things very well. My only complaint is that sometimes he will word something in an unusual way on a test, so its hard to tell what you're supposed to do.

Entire class is online but is very simple. He allows you to take practice tests which are very beneficial and attendance is not mandatory. I did not go to class the entire semester and I finished with a B. Just need good time management and to take the practice tests. Highly reccomend taking class with him.

Flat out LOVED his class. His economic socail issues class is an automatic A. Unless of course you have the IQ of a primate like most of the students i have encountered at EIU. I reall enjoyed the few times we talked during his office hours.

His class is very easy, it sounds scary the first day when he told us how many test we had, but there is only 10 questions on a test and we can take them at our leisure, and he gives study guides for each one that tells exactly what each question will be.
