The grades are so confusing, but in the end it isn't hard to wind up with an A-. The tests are hard, but the rest of the graded assignments are easy. Class is long, teacher is boring, but worth it if you want the grade.

Badly structured class. The exams are hard which doesnt mix with the laid back atmosphere that you have while in class. Its an easy class to get an A in but a really frustrating class to take. The material is interesting so wait for another prof.

Really nice guy and wants EVERYONE to do well.... It seems like there's a lot of work based on the syllabus, but there's not. 2 exams and one presentation. Everyone in the class got an A on the presentation, and he curved the exams so that everyone got an A or a B.... take him!!!

Nice guy, boring class, but the information is interesting (if that makes any sense). Hard to study for the tests because there is so much detail, but he must curve because many people did very well on the first test and he is an easy grader. Great GPA booster! Easy A if youparticipate.

I had cawley for 2 classes. He's very nice but very boring. His papers are really easy but tests are hard. His grading scale is really easy though. I went to class about once a month and got an A in one class and an A- in the other.

Class wasnt too bad, i went to a total of 4 lectures the entire semester and pulled off a B. The lectures are boring, he reads directly from his powerpoint...therefore no need to attend lecture since the notes are all on blackboard.
