What can I say? He is tough! Better sit up front, take good notes fast, and listen carefully. You definitely need to read the book. However, he knows his stuff! I struggled, but was glas he wasn't so easy. I was surprised how much I learned, although I didn't do as well as the first O-Chem.

run far...run fast...he is so smart but he is completely incapable of imparting his knowledge to other people...as soon as he opened his mouth, i was confused...his powerpoint slides are decent but for 228 he started writing on the board instead and that was even worse becuase his handwriting is horrible...he curves the grades tho...thank god!!

He taught "baby chemistry" course. I thought it would be an easy A. Boy was I wrong. I worked my @$$ off, to get an A. I learned a lot of chemistry. It was very interesting. He is one of the best teachers I've had at Campbell. Because of him, I might just minor in Chemistry.

Dr Jung is the worst prof on this campus, he is VERY unclear and teaches what he learned 30 yrs ago, half of the stuff is not even in the book!! DO NOT take him if you can help it, unless you just want to be confused and frustrated...very unhelpful and makes you feel like an idiot!! To old to be teaching, RETIRE!!!!

Dr. Jung knows his stuff but cannot efficiently explain the concepts.Book reading is crucial and tests are very difficult.Make sure you sit near the front or your wont be able to hear or understand a word he says.He makes students feel inferior when they go to him for help...try to get Dr. Wells.

in a word jung rocks. he is probably the best teacher at cmapbell. it is hard to believe that he has been teaching for 40 years. he is like a fine wine : he only gets better with age. he taught me so much it is hard to remember it all!!!

I had Wells for Organic I and had no problems with it, I took Jung for Organic II and struggled for a high F. He is a "soft-talker," and is very unclear. I didn't feel comfortable going to him for extra help either because I felt he was very condescending. Take Wells... He is the man!

jung is a smart professor but a very bad teacher. I got to the point i was looking his topics up online to try and teach them to myself since he makes no sense and skips around through the book. He also gets very angry when the class does bad and then he takes away the lecture notes. wow

Should have retired 30 years ago when his chemistry knowledge was current. Makes work unduly hard. Yelled at the class for 15 minutes one day for being "lazy". All-in-all, professors like him are why I am transferring out of Campbell.

Dr. Jung is the man. You don't have to take notes... he has all his notes typed up and you buy them. It's a good deal... just get those, a highlighter, and learn to stay awake. You don't really need the book, and he gives review sheets before every test (there are 3). Labs are easy.

Dr Jung makes organic much harder than it has to be. I have Dr. Wells for lab and in 5 mins he explained something we'd been going over for days and it made so much more sense. Dr Jung wants us to do well and he cares, he just gets angry when we don't understand. If you take him do your homework!

Those of you who complain about organic being hard, what do you expect? it's an advanced chem class, what do you want a cakewalk? If you are goin gto be a pharm. or dr. i pray i wont have you. jung is helpful and actually cares about what he is doing. he is a good guy and an excellent teacher.

yea i know that his basic chem class is easy but for people taking organic he is a hard sob. he is easyier if you happen to be an atractive female when i say easier i mean he will answer your questions.....o yea and i did not learning anything with him.
