Comment:
I took Rogash for English 112, but he is completely different for Literature. There is an exorbitant amount of homework due. For every reading, there is a 2 page "log"due explaining the reading. It is tough to keep up with for a Monday and Wednesday class. He is still a very knowledgeable professor and hilarious, but he is a stiff grader.

Rogash will teach you how to write an amazing paper on a graduate level. He is an extremely talented English major. I took him because I wanted to learn how to write well. He is a tough grader and you will fail if you don't show up to class. However, he will walk you through how to write an excellent paper. Don't take him if you want an easy A.

Rogash is possibly the best professor on earth. I have taken three classes with him over the last two semesters, and I was bummed to learn he wouldn't be teaching Journalism 2 in the spring. He gives amazing feedback and is upfront about anything, and keeps it real about your work. The guy loves to joke, too.

I have taken 2 classes with professor Rogash. He was the toughest professor I had in BHCC. If you are willing to work and learn, he is the guy for you. I write better academic papers because of him. You truly experience a glance of the work rate you expect in a real job.

All you need to know, Professor is in his 60's 5 foot 5 in. white man. doesn't accept late work. Theres homework for every class which might take some time but they are easy. Requires a lot of reading. If you do ALL your work on time, you get an easy A. Theres 4 essays. Class is always fun, he is a character. Overall a lot of work but worth it.

Easily the best professor I've had. He gives you an allowance of how many times you can be absent in the semester (usually 3 or 4 times) in the first class, making everything straight forward. Syllabus is accurate, class participation is a MUST, quizzes every class to make sure you've read the materials. Also he's hilarious, king of dad jokes fosho

This was my second time taking Prof. Rogash and I would take another class by him. The expectations are set in the beginning of the semester and you are held to them. He is funny and easy to get along with as long as you do your work.

Professor Rohash is a tough teacher but you will learn a lot. If you want an easy A he is not the guy for you. He doesn't accept late work so make a friend, exchange digits and if something comes up, ask your new buddy to print out your assignment and hand it in for you. He also is the king of dad jokes.

You have to go to every class and be prepared to read and write a lot, but it's worth it! I've taken easier classes with terrible professors and it wasn't worth having a horrible teacher just for less work. This guy is a REALLY great teacher, really funny, energetic, and the class was really fun, looking back I wish I'd taken more classes with him!

Overall one of the best professors I have come across , very professional and makes you work hard to get good grades . He is a character always puts his all in his lectures and will call you out if you miss classes . Do not take this class if you like to get to class late or miss class. Will definitely recommend him to other students.

Really enthusiastic professor! His lit class is so fascinating that you lose sense of time. He also tries to make all the students participate. The only downside is a great deal of reading. After all, it's a lit class. So, get ready to read. -Quiz and log almost on every class -3 or 4 essays. -No midterm or final. -Try to participate a lot.

He's a very funny professor, he cracks alot of jokes. although he's a funny, he does give a quiz at the beginning of every class to see if you read the material he assigns. he assigns like 3 essays during the semester and if you want to pass the class READ THE MATERIAL and do your logs because the quizzes are a big part of your grade.

He has a great sense of humor, you will never fall asleep in his class. The lectures are very enjoyable. Just show up every class, read the material and remember some main idea. The quizzes are not hard, it's just to check to see if you have read the materials or not.

Rogash puts on an abrasive act, but he really respects his students and their efforts. He calls it like he sees it, so his feedback can be brutal. He will stretch your skills and make you a better writer if it's the last thing he does. At the end of the day, he will reward you for working hard and taking the class seriously. One of my favorites.

Took him during the summer, a lot of reading but he does like to make the class interesting. He can be considered a tough grader but if you follow directions, go to class. You should be alright. I think he rounds a bit too. but you must engage in class discussions.

If you ever need a professor who can help write a perfect paper, take Rogash. Positively one of BHCC's finest. Tough at most times, but really helpful. You have to work for it. This guy can help you succeed, but he won't help if you're lazy, incompetent, or stubborn. Just do the work, and you will be fine 100%!!! Good luck :)
