Comment:

Dr. Ramey has extremely long test (Like 3 11x14 sheets of paper) and expects you to finish it in 50 minutes. His homework is confusing. He talks very low and monotone. Definitely wouldn't recommend unless you like sitting in the front of the class and like being under pressure.

He gives long tests that are to be taken outside of class time. You have to sign up for a time to take any of the tests. Writes on chalkboards and he writes a lot. Lots of notes. There are a lot of quizzes, which are also long.

Attendance mandatory. Don't think about skipping, you'll never catch up. He is distracting and not in a good way. He knows his stuff, he's just old fashioned. Chalkboard, etc. prints everything on legal paper. Has pop quizzes. Tests and quizzes are long and hard.

Ramey is the most amazing guy to have as a professor. This guy could seriously write a textbook himself if he wanted to. He knows his stuff! All I can really say is if you really are going to take him do not take the class for granted, because it is impossible to catch up with Ramey if or whenever you trip. Other than that I really enjoyed him.

Definitely a hard teacher, but a very good one. If you actually want to learn, Dr. Ramey is the way to go. His tests can be brutal, and he moves quickly through material, but he's very thorough with his teaching and is extremely available and helpful during his office hours.

Ramey knows his stuff, and he will slow down for you if you need help. He offers help sessions if you need it, and he assigns homework to help you practice anything you need help with. He also gives extra credit on all of his quizzes, so it's okay if you're not perfect.

Never taking this professor again. Tests look like posters, grades harshly, goes crazy fast, asks rhetorical questions so much that you won't realize that he waiting on your answer. Book should help, but doesn't.

Dr. Ramey knows what he is talking about and you will find this out very quickly. I definitely recommend his class; however, you better be able to write quickly and comprehend slightly messy handwriting. I enjoyed this class very much and he was an amazing help any time I asked for it. He goes out of his way for help sessions and gives extra credit

Seriously the HARDEST class I've ever taken, do NOT take him, did not learn anything, doesn't explain things clearly, expects you to get everything right away, if you ever get behind you might as well go ahead and drop the class, there is no way you're gonna catch up because he goes so fast.

Dr. Ramey is the HARDEST AND I MEAN HARDEST professor I have ever taken! His tests aren't on normal sheets of paper. They are extra long and you have to do them outside of class. That wasn't okay with me because I actually work in the evenings and I can't forfeit my check for a stupid test that could have been taken during the designated class time

For Ramey you have to show up a few mins early,put a hw problem on the board,participate in class,nd stude! Any class w/ Ramey is hard work! Do NOT enroll in a Ramey class if you aren't prepared to work! But, it's not impossible to pass. Besides, u feel better when you EARN a good grade! and u cnt take calc 2 if you didn't learn anything in calc 1

If this man wanted to, he could write the textbook on the material he teaches. That is how in-depth his knowledge of the material is. He is a fantastic teacher, and gives his students LOTS of opportunities to better there grades. He even offers help sessions before exams. I wish he taught all the maths above 202. And yes, legal paper :)

His class requires a lot of work. The test are 5-6 hours. You have to put a lot of work into his class. The test are a lot harder than the what we do in the classroom. He will answer questions during his office, but I don't not recommend taking his class if you do not have too.

This class definitely requires a lot of time outside of class. Time for homework, doing the practice quiz sets, the take home quizzes, and the outside of class exams and studying. Your grade is definitely a reflection of how much time and effort you put into it. You will definitely learn the material.

Abdolutely by far the worst professor I have experienced at FMU. As a person Ramey is fine, as a professor I hate the man. His test are 4-6 hours long, OUTSIDE of class, and his tests contain things which are way harder than what he goes over in class. very unstatisfied!!

Dr. Ramey is the best math professor at FMU!! His class is very challenging. But it is well worth your time. He cares about his students. OMG, what can i say, please dont take ramey. I mean dang his test are about 4 hrs longs and u have to shcedule time out of your time to do it. Quizes are 3 to 5 pages longs. He is a good teacher alright to himself and only himself. he shuld have been retired. He need to do us a favor and retire right away. soon ass possible.
