Nice teacher, completely bullshot an essay & got a low B.Lectures are very boring but sometimes funny.Good guy & talks about marijuana a lot.Notes in class dealt with nothing in the tests or papers.Read the books to get a good grade, just go to class & read it basically.Good teacher but you have to work extra hard to stay awake & active.Gluck!

He loves his subject. Class is all lecture, kind of boring. Essay test on a very boring book. Drops few questions from the test, then curves it also..helpful. Tests are long. 70 questions in a 50min class!! B is not easy, A is a lot tougher.

The lectures are boring, you must fight to stay awake. The tests are hard, and the essays are pointless and time consuming. There are 2 tests and 2 papers and each counts for 25% of your grade. No extra credit. Overall the class is not at all worth taking with this teacher.

Really genuine down to earth guy, laid back attitude, nice. Lots and lots of reading, but u dont really hafta get through all of it, or any of it in my case, class is pretty easy but can be pretty boring at times, recommend the teacher and the class if you're not looking for a lot of work

He is such a nice person and really genuinely cares for his students. He's very relaxed about the homework/due dates on papers. All of class is discussion based which was great. Highly recommended

Great teacher. Has a cool and relaxed teaching style that helps encourage group disscussions. The reading is a little thick but if you can get through it you'll do great on the essays. This is by far one of the best teachers at De Anza.
