Very awesome professor. A lot of the projects provided us with real-world examples of every day applications such as a stock quote ticker, and other useful projects as well! He does a good job overall, and quizzes/tests are very straightforward.

He brings a lot of great experience from the software industry. You can learn a truly staggering amount of material from his class. I was happy to have a professor who can communicate examples from real-world scenarios. The end of class (Enterprise Architecture) were probably the most useful three weeks of any CSCI class I've taken.

He knew the material VERY well, was able to provide 'real-life' use of the material and current and upcoming technology examples. Accent was sometimes hard to understand, and had pretty much no clue what we were doing for the class project - just let the TA's handle it. overall good instructor.

He gives grades based on how well people do. In our class, so many people did well that a 97% was an A-. Very difficult to understand and the class can be confusing. pretty easy but extremely boring.

Blah...this guy blows. Not sure why he is teaching, because he doesn't really seem to like it much. I never witnessed him tape a lecture, but then again, I went about 4 times throughout the semester. He repeats the same material every day, with minimal new info. Another really bad MIS class.

Knows everything about the subject. He was never gone when I had him. However, he did travel over the weekends sometimes, but that is because he is pretty high up at IBM and needs to travel for that business. Sometimes a tough accent, but overall a decent teacher.

I agree with the above reviews. His class is easy although he is an extremely lazy instructor. He uses the power point slides from the book and pretty much reads those in lecture. I would guess that out of 50 people in the class maybe two pay attention...eveyone else does cross word puzzles. Do n

Very knowledgeable, but extremely lazy instructor. Eleven weeks in, he has already videotaped three lectures and is not present at exams. Office hours are just before class, which is useless for help on assignments. Is almost never in his office. Bad.

Lectures were worthless. He has a very bad accent. The class was very easy though, open note and open book tests and final (!). You can print any program you write and use it as notes.
