Dr. Pope is a wonderful professor! She is so sweet and really knows what she's talking about. The class is always interesting but you have to make sure to stay on top of your assignments because she won't accept late work.

Dr. Pope is great. Took her for "Mass" Media, and it was a super interesting class. It's not a hard class, but you do have to participate, listen to the podcasts, and do the readings to get a good grade. But it is interesting so it makes everything easy to do. Very knowledgeable about the subject and has a great sense of humor!

I loved Dr. Pope's Mass Media class. I learned a whole lot that I had never even considered learning as someone who is only a COM minor. Her lectures are fascinating and her assignments are relevant and not too difficult. No tests!!!

Dr. Pope is a great teacher. She is very kind and passionate about her subjects. Though she requires some homework, it is not an overload. I highly recommend taking her courses. She is a joy to be around. I truly appreciated the respect she had for each individual and their separate opinions.

Dr. Pope is one of the best, if not the best professor, I've had in my 2.5 years on college. Her class was Mass Media and is heavily discussion based (so go to class) with no tests. If you like talking about things in a group setting take this class. Also, she's very caring and understanding when life geta in the way of classes.

she is an awesome professor! very down to earth and understanding. DO THE QUIZZES and go to class. if you want to get an A, read the chapters. the class is pretty much an online class, but you discuss topics and assignments in class... not bad at all.

i didn't like her. she gave me a zero as a grade on my last paper but she said 10 points off for each spelling error. i only had 4 and a guy next to me had over 100 spelling errors and got a 35 but i got a zero. she picks favorites and if you aren't her favorite then you are in trouble

I think she is wonderful. This class is all about your own personal beliefs and all we do is discuss-but you need to know the basic concepts in the book. Not hard at all-there is a small portfolio and a few papers to write. Overall, she is very nice and funny-she KNOWS her stuff! Laidback and the syllabus changes every day it seems!

I had her for two classes and an independent study. She is absolutely the best professor I had my whole time at App. She expects quite a bit, but she lays it out in the beginning and you can always ask her anything. We all had so much fun in her practices class and I believe we left knowing more than the other practices class. She's also really great in Com Research....tough, but it really helps.
