Really good at explaining concepts, does his best to give examples and break down the material so that it is easier to understand. Midterms and final are pretty straightforward.

I had him for 2b and was pleasantly surprised when my "STAFF" for 3A turned out to be him too. He's a really smart guy but definitely makes you work for it on the exams. Go to lectures and take good notes/pay attention because thats what gets put on tests. Solid professor

I took 2B over SS1 and it was definitely tough but Prof Kronewetter genuinely cares & tries to give you as many practice problems as he can. Practicing the problems is KEY. To prepare for his MT, do literally every problem he did in class. The MT will be exactly like the class problems. For the final, the in-class problems helped me a ton too.

Prof. Kronwetter was a great lecturer. He was very skilled in his field and taught many interesting topics that connected to outside of the class. His tests can be challenging, especially if you don't work fast, but he grades fairly and if you put in the effort you'll do well. Practicing more questions and going over the reviews is key.

The test have everything from definitions to small proofs he already did in class. There was no sample midterms or final. Quizzes were ridiculously easy because the ta made them. Got the questions straight from the textbook. He tests you based off lecture. Go to every lecture and understand what he does and you'll pass.

He's really good at teaching. People seem to over exaggerate, making him seem like this really enthusiastic, amazing professor. Sure he's amazing, he's just really chill. The tests he writes have very clear grading criteria and, when I compare my 3A class to my friends', I know how to do the problems they don't.

3A professor. By far the best professor to take if you really want to get into the nits and grits of linear algebra. Gives background and meaning to what Math is. Tests werent difficult due to doing math problems assigned from the book. Go to class, do the problems, dont skip quizzes and ask questions if you dont get something. Guarantee an A.

His grading is composed of 6 quizzes, midterm, and cumulative final. The TA would give out a worksheet and the quiz would be a problem from the worksheet. His midterm and final was very similar to the sample and are both curved, so as long as you practice you should pass. He takes the time to explain what hes teaching and gives lots of examples.

I am so happy I decided to switch my schedule around to get Kronewetter as my calc professor! He is very clear on what he expects and provides a lot of examples so students can be exposed to multiple types of problems. With that being said, lectures are good to attend because the examples he gives in class are extremely similar to midterm problems!

One of my favorite Math professors here at UCI. He's awesome, and is really clear on what to expect on the tests. He wants everyone to do well, he's not going to put anything tricky or unexpected on the tests.

If you have taken Calculus before , then he is a great professor for you. If you have not taken Calcuus beforehand, AVOID THIS PROFESSOR! During lectures he talks to fast, his only notes are written a whiteboard, and throughout the lecture he skips steps assuming that we all know exactly what he is doing and gets irritated by questions.

Although I liked him better for 2B, he is still a solid choice for 3A and is a great professor. His tests are fairly easy but because of that there is not a curve in the class. He is also kinda hard to reach through email.

Professor Kronewetter is great. His class is much better than your typical math class, mainly because he always finds ways to incorporate economics concepts into his lectures. Your grade is simply determined by the quizzes, midterm, and final, so it's important to study. I found that going over the sample midterm and final helped me succeed.

Professor Kronewitter is a great guy, but my God, was his class extremely tough. Be ready to be a mathematician in his class. I'm a Business Econ major and struggled heavily with the math.

He is VERY straightforward, clear, and helpful. This class is A LOT of memorization, and you NEED to attend lecture in order to do well. The midterm & final are similar to the study guides; however, you are given MUCH harder problems for the final. I got a 98% on the midterm & a 82% on the final. Also, the final is LONG, I took the ENTIRE TWO HOURS

Lectures are easy to follow, mostly consisting of examples. Pay attention and practice these examples and you'll be fine for his midterms! His midterms are a bit harder than the final. With that being said, it prepares you well for the final. He also takes a few points off each midterm as a curve. He may bump you if you do well on the final!

Couldn't have been a better calculus professor. The in class examples he writes are extremely helpful. He's also got a youtube channel(Mathercise)where he writes more clarifying examples. Surprisingly, the practice midterms are harder than the actual midterms. Definitely don't miss lectures, they're one of his most useful resources.

Made math looks stupid easy. His teaching makes so much sense. The sample midterm and sample final are VERY similar to the actual exams so no surprises. Homework is optional, but there are weekly quizzes based on it. Easy class if you put a little effort.
