Professor Ge is not as bad as others make her seem! Although she may constantly hurry through her lectures she is accessible during her office hours and holds open question reviews for the midterms. It can definitely be tough since she does not explain concepts in detail, but its manageable. She makes that highest scored midterm worth a greater %!

Honestly not horrible. Not my first choice, but if you get her, dont lose hope yet.I scored above average on every test. Having high school chem background, redoing Wiley hw, going to TA office hours, doing book problems, and finishing worksheets is what helped me. 90% of grade is based on tests and 10% on hw. Can go fast on lectures but posts them.

Heavy accent and overcomplicates everything. You really have to be able to teach yourself to pass this class. She also assigns unnecessary chem papers and grades really hard on them. Don't take her class. 10/10 wouldn't recommend

She force us to write a 500 words paper for each midterms, while it won't happen to other professor. I won't choose her class next term.

She seems nice and she does have an accent but you can still definitely understand her. Shes just not suitable to be a teacher. I barely understand anything from her lectures and the average for the first midterm was fairly hope. I heard she curves really good though so thats that

She is the worst professor I have ever had in my entire life. She is very confusing, and I learned more through my friend in 15 min then I did in 10 of her lectures. Class average for a midterm was 55%. Save yourself if it isn't too late!!

Not suitable to be an educator at all. Confusing lectures and too many detailed derived formulas which make the lecture lengthy and unnecessary. She is accessible outside class but she is not helpful at all because she BARELY answers your question, instead she just nods along what you have to say.

She actually tries to teach us unlike other professors who copy word for word off the required textbooks, but her accent and numerous lecture presentation mistakes are cringeworthy. Her bare lecture slides are based off the book with her own knowledge applied, so skipping class or sleeping through class will guarantee a low grade in the class.

worst lecturer I have taken so far for chemistry. Make multiples mistakes in lecture notes/ exams and not consistent in her explanations. Office hour is useless. Made mistake in her final exam and didn't inform students how she gonna grade that particular question or let us double check the grading b4 she submit the grades via WebGrades.

Ge is a nice professor but it is difficult to understand what she is trying to teach. While she does have an accent, it does not hinder what she teaches. The method that she tries to teach in is confusing. For some concepts she is clear and concise about what she wants and expects while for other concepts she relies on jargon and analogies.

Sweet lady, Horrible lecturer. Went to class for a good week before giving up Midterms are 45% and final is 45% (10% is online HW due 3x a week). Definitely go to discussion, and do ALL the HW (it helps). She curved the f out of her class. I got a C on the first midterm, a D on the second one (both above avg) and F on the final and ended up w a C+

Ge has a very heavy Asian accent so be ready for that. She is very caring (she gave gifts to students who improved the most between exams)! Do all the book problems and her lecture problems are youll be fine! Her exams were fair. Basically, nothing amazing but nothing horrible either.

Honestly her tests were not hard at all. Professor Ge taught the material well. Every lecture she would give you one example of every concept that she was teaching. She would put problems on the test that were similar to the examples she showed in class. The homework that she assigns is a little harder than the test she gives so do the homework

Though professor Ge is fairly kind and seemingly knowledgeable, her lectures were honestly more confusing than they were worth. Her teaching skills aren't the grdates and she isn't very clear on what knowledge is needed for exams at times. Wileplus was more helpful than lectures. Overall, her tests were easy enough if you read the textbook.

Alright so she didn't really teach. This course was more of a teaching yourself ordeal. Peer tutoring helped A LOT. The tests aren't too bad is you know the material and put in the work but again, she didn't really teach so that was quite a roadblock. Do your willed plus hw, it's not useful but it does count.

Tough class but not so bad. A lot of the student were too lazy to do the work and hence, failed.
