Really great teacher, tells you everything you'll need to know for exam, but attendance is a must, and you get to use a cheat sheet on your exams, volunteer hours required for class, but he's pretty flexible on where you volunteer at.

Dr. Hurt makes this class interesting and doesn't push students badly. His class is relatively easy-not too many assignments-and the exams are not difficult. In addition, he's a friendly guy with a passion for education, and has a lot of knowledge to help you think about working as a teacher.

No classes on Fridays, an annotation and question due on Mondays (very simple), no textbook, and class is all lecture. He lectures on various education topics but all are interesting especially if you are an Education major. Great teacher!

This is literally the easiest class you'll ever take. He gives Fridays off and his tests are verbatim from the powerpoints he shows in class. Really nice guy and really helpful with everything.

This class is a piece of cake. Attendance is mandatory, but he only has class twice a week. He gives you all fridays off, so that was awesome. Kind of boring class, but so easy. I would definitely reccommend him.

Amazing and nice guy. Class is extremely easy. The only test you have is a Midterm and it's really easy if you study for a couple hours. You have a final (east) writing project and the final is a bunch of questions. Great class for a future teacher.

The class is extremely easy. You just go to the lectures and copy the notes. Attendance is mandatory, and the lectures can get a bit long but they are interesting most of the time. He's also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Even outside of class he will talk to you and give you advice on what ever you need. You do need to volunteer though

This class is super easy and pretty interesting. The text book that is listed with the course isn't used and he'll tell you that you can take it back. Due to not having a book, attendance is required for notes. He allows 2 free absences but after that each counts for a point off your final grade. He's super helpful and easy to get along wth!

Fabulous class and teacher! No textbooks. Lectures can be very long and boring though. He gave Friday off for the Monday-Wednesday-Friday section and Thursday off for the double block Tuesday-one block Thursday. Volunteering is the only downfall, but it can also be a lot of fun. Highly recommend!!

Really nice professor who is willing to work with you on deadlines and such. Class isn't very hard, takes a little bit of work with a few 1 page papers and 10 pages for a final but its easy stuff. Take him for an honors credit!

Best class ever! Extremely easy and interesting especially if you are an education major, but if not it's just an easy A elective class. One midterm. Final is a question-based paper and there is a writing project that is very easy. Nicest professor, and best part, our MWF class ONLY met M and W!!!! Also, NO TEXTBOOK. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Class only met once a week for a block, no textbook so going to class was mandatory to take notes. Class can get boring but we never stayed for the whole block and Hurt really cares about his students (and won't keep you guys there long if he knows you can't pay attention). Awesome guy to talk to out of class, tests were harder than expected though

He is amazing! Not the most interesting class, but the nicest teacher on campus. He really cares about his students and is very understanding. Volunteer hours are easy, AT Issues are also not hard and the class dicussion goes by fast. Definitly take this class!

Mr. Hurt is great! He's SO nice and really passionate about his field. He's taught for I think like 35 years! He gives maybe like 5 at issues which are just one page opinion papers, a midterm test, and then reports as the final exam. Just one helpful hint: make sure your grammar is good! He used to be an English teacher and he counts off on papers!
