Okay, so he's really funny. BUT, it's true; the long explanations do more to detract from the topic then anything. Even things that I already knew became confusing. The worst are his tests. ARRRG! They're 5-15 questions long, meaning you screw up a little bit you're REALLY screwed.Despite knowing the material, I failed the tests regularly. BEWARE

Explains material very throughly.. maybe a little TOO much. If you're a math person, I advise you not to take a class taught by him unless of course you want a really good grade in exchange for being bored out of your mind. Also, he might be a little strange to some.

The concepts aren't hard. Far from it. Problem is, he overemphasizes things like crazy, so he expects you to be an expert on the easy stuff. That makes it hard. Lame huh? The way he explains things is obscure at best. I see people who don't get easy concepts getting frustrated because they know its easy but he cant phrase coherent explanations

Actually, he is practically overjoyed to answer your questions and is pretty understanding when you mess up (i.e. your phone rings in class).However, he is incomprehensible, goes off on very long tangents, and doesn't seem to get the hint that he's not a good teacher. Do yourself a huge favor and DON'T take his class.His exams are hard and tedious

This is the worst professor I have ever had!! He seems stuck up. If you ask him a question he will either say, "I will not answer that" or he'll just treat you like you're stupid. He doesn't explain things in a way that people can understand. He goes off on horribly long tangents. YUCK!!! DO NOT take a class with him, EVER!!

Full of dry humor and strange fake accents. He explains things for so long it makes me want to beat my head on the table. Gives a review before exams if you ask for one. Good for people who aren't good at math because of his extensive explanations but someone who gets math right away may be very bored.

Strange guy, but very high energy and lots of fun. He enjoys teaching. Despite what people are saying, he offers reviews, but you have to ask for them. You can't expect to just sit there and hope he'll go over what you have questions on. Over explains things, but if you listen, eventually he'll explain it in a way everyone can understand.

I liked him at first, but by the end I hated the class. He doesnt give any review before exams and isnt helpful when you ask questions. I would not recomend his class... the other STAT professors seem much better from what I hear.

He's annoying as hell; smart about math but lacking any common sense. He's annoying, he digresses, I DO NOT suggest taking his class. He makes my skin crawl. He's lame, and he always complains about his life.

Awesome Prof! Not only does he explain everything well, he is willing to help you as much as you want. He was, BY FAR, the best math teacher I've ever had in my life. I would recommend his class to anyone who wants to succeed in math, and anyone who has a sense of humor. He makes math about as enjoyable as it can be. I can't say enough about him!
