I had lenburg my first semester of college, and looking back, he was def one of my fav prof! Helpful, passionate, and fair. Just simile and kill your first few papers and you have the class made.

Comment:

For 105, you write about 16 papers. The difficulty level increases with each paper, but noting too outrageous. Classes are extremely boring. Never used "the open handbook" textbook even though we had to bring it everyday. If you hate writing papers or can't do them, this is NOT the class for you. Only plus is that he's helpful..

Jeff Lenburg is very strict and the class is the most boring class I have ever had! I always got A's in my prior English classes but he is just WAY too strict on papers. I show up to class 10 minutes early and he still tells everyone to get off their cell phones and ipods before class starts. Avoid if possible

He gives a lot of homework, but his guidelines for how he wants the homework assignments done is very clear. He's always available to help you if you need it. He posts all of his handouts on blackboard, so there is very little to no notetaking. I would recommend him to anyone.

Lenburg is picky, but as long as you follow his guidelines, you will get an A. Very nice man, he will help you out with papers whenever needed. Very quick on returning papers. He writes so much imput and ways to improve on your paper.

Lenburg is awful. I seriously lost brain cells every time I sat through one of his classes. His grading was completely subjective, and he could provide no feedback on any of my papers. If you have no valid opinions and are looking to skate through college without really learning anything, take a class with "The Burg."

Great teacher, demonstrates how a teacher should be. Truly cares about his students and lets you really be creative on the topic you pick. Bigs points if you write a paper on legalizing marijuana (Loves that topic). Very easy on homework, work on paper

He is really nice and helps with everything. He is very involved with his student and actually cares about them. He will let you turn in stuff late and is really good at making the class fun.
