The class is hard but Hoffman is great. He's funny, and absolutely one of the nicest guys. He makes confusing things clear in lecture, and he realizes that what he teaches is tough, so he's there to help. Still, the class is hard if you've not taken AP Chem, there's no way around it. But if you're going to take it, take it with Hoffman.

Great lab professor. Very helpful and nice to his students. Explains things very well and demonstrates experiments beforehand. Will answer any questions you have, and keeps to his office hours.

Dr Hoffmann is really cool...you can talk to him about pretty much anything...except drinking.He is very helpful, and genuinely cares about how you are doing. Likes to say thumbs up! with the hand motion, and does not like it when u skip.
