well he tries that what counts, all his quizzes are group based and rarely counts the wrong ones. test are hard so study the workbook he gives out and print out the sideshow on D2L. homework is online and additional quizzes are online, those are piece of cake based off the textbook. sometimes get off subject with stories but i would take him again

Extremely kind and entertaining. Tries his best to make the subject comprehensible. Sadly, accounting is just mindnumbingly boring, dry and pointless so I couldn't bring myself to care about any of it, though I did try. Tests are very hard and I will probably fail his class like many others. Take the course if you have OCD and no soul/personality.

He is an OUTSTANDING professor. Very organized, and quirky OCD. Stories are the best. Laid back and very thorough, but so easy to learn from. He writes the book that you use. Review his practice tests and you'll do great.

When the accountants for ASU create the Balance sheet they place JEFF MILLER under ASSETS. He is the best teacher I think I've ever had. Buy the notebook, go to class and BOOM you got an A. No joke. Accounting is complicated, but he breaks it down perfectly. Oh and his stories are the best.

For my first venture into Accounting I'm so glad I chose Prof Miller. On line HW/quizzes = easy grade. He is sooo sweet! His class is really laid back, be prepared to read outloud. I want to take more classes in Accounting after having him. Buy the book he makes, it's all you'll need to make an A+! Sweetest man ever! If you fail - you're a failure!

I enjoyed professor Miller's class very much. His eloquence is incomparable. His class was one of my favorites, honestly. I needed to read the textbook, but many can ace the class without the text. Extremely helpful, shares stories that are very relavant, and makes accounting interesting to learn. Highly recommend.

He says thank you more than anyone I ever met. So polite and he is so cute. Takes breaks to have storytime (not kidding) and loves when you laugh or know who the story is about. Loves participation and questions HATES cell phones!! A LOT!!! Knocks points off for them. He will make sure you understand and is very helpful.

Sad that I had to withdraw, but I would say that this prof is good at what he is doing. The textbook is no use to pass the the class although it would be of great help. Practice journal entries, read his handout, and you'll success just fine. Always be prepare for a pop in class quiz though he makes four to five people share one quiz paper.

Great professor! He makes accounting easier to understand. Accounting is not my thing, but he made the subject as enjoyable for me as possible. If you keep up with his book of handouts and study them for tests, you will do really well in this class! I did not open the textbook once. Turn off your cell phones and don't fall asleep whatever you do!

Dr. Miller makes the class extremely easy. Teaches completly out of the notebook. But I do recommend buying the book and doing the readings and homework he assigns for practice if you have a hard time with this subject. It will help you. Story time is lame but it does give you a break. I will def. take him for upper level courses.

Did not crack the textbook one time! He teaches out of the workbook 100%. He is very helpful, kinda cheesey-funny, really knowledgable, personable and grades more than fairly! Jeff Miller is not only a great teacher, but also a great human being. Dr. Miller should not only be President of ASU, but also of the United States. Miller 2008
