Dr. Jeff got me to love Physics. He is clear in his lectures, his classes are interesting and he is a friendly person. He lets you do test corrections which is amazing. I studied the practice problems we did in class and the optional practice problems online and I felt extremely prepared for his test. is10/10 would take him again if I could.

If you do the hw and try to understand it and pay attention in class, you will learn a lot the second time around (class). Do the harder practice problems before tests, those let you know what's on the test. He also has videos on how to do it and why. You can find the textbook online for $20 but buy the workbook hardcopy

4 Tests. Homework every week (VERY EASY). 1 cumulative final. He doesn't teach. You basically have to teach yourself. Only good thing is that you can do test corrections for extra points. Be good at math. Not calculus based.

Dr. Jeff is an awesome teacher! It is no doubt a hard class but all physics is hard. He is probably the easiest physics teacher at LMU and really cares about his students. He will help so much if you come to office hours and there are test corrections! He also has videos online which are super helpful studying for tests!

Dr. Phillips is by far the worst Physics professor at LMU! he is extremely unfair and his tests are no where close to what the in class questions or lab questions are. Avoid him because he is a bad professor and has a very annoying personality!

Dr. Phillips is a fair and approachable teacher. I had no interest in taking physics prior to this class and I can honestly say I still have no interest in physics. Whether you like physics or not, Phillips is a friendly and interesting guy who tries to make it fun. Tests are fair as long as you keep up with reading and you can do test corrections!

Philips is a very nice and approachable teacher. his test averages are in the mid 80s and are reasonably easy. he is VERY good with partial credit on tests. homework assignments are these progress reports that can get annoying but are really easy. wanted to take him again but couldnt due to schedule conflict

Dr. Phillips is great! four tests and one final and the lab is attached to the class. The material can be overwhelming if you do not keep pace with the reading or not clarifying any lingering questions. He's very approachable and a pretty funny guy with some pretty good jokes! He made physics enjoyable for me forsure

I didn't think physics could be very fun, but Dr. Jeff somehow does make it fun. He's a funny guy who cares about his students, even though physics is tough he does a great job at teaching it, he responds to emails in a snap and is always extremely helpful if you see him in his office hours.
