He is a great professor! You need to show up for every class prepared (book, hw, papers, etc). There are a ton of little assignments that add up to your final grade. Which is great because if you get a bad score here and there it doesn't matter! For the 2+ hr class, it gets out early usually. Take him!

Professor Clark is an amazing English instructor. He is not warm and fuzzy, but I really enjoyed his class and learned a lot. Thanks to him I am a better writer. He is a very serious teacher and wants his students to learn. You need to go to every class or you will miss something. attendance and homework very important. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend him! You will learn a lot from his class. He is not you "easy A" teacher, but is worth every penny of your tuition dollars. There are a ton of grades so a bad one here and there won't matter. You must come to class! He always does graded assignments during class and checks homework. He is not a fan of students looking for easy As

Go to class, participate in discussions, and do your home work and you will be fine! He seems mean, but is really just trying to get students to take the class more serious. There are a ton of little "essays", work sheets, etc that all add up to your grade, so don't worry about a bad grade here and there! Highly recommended.

Such a great teacher! He is not an easy A, but you will learn from this class if you put the time into it. It will actually help with your papers for other classes. He likes to weed out the "not serious" students at first. After that he's pretty easy going. You use your book a lot. You must come to class. He is a great teacher!

Rudest English teacher at Saddleback. His handwriting is pathetic and barley readable. He will insult you if you come to class late when he barley gets there on time. Don't take this old guy.

He is a great professor! Your writing will actually improve after this course whether you think you needed it or not. He can seem a little harsh, but he's honest. Just do the work, always bring the book, and interact in class. Attendance is mandatory, there are a lot of little graded assignments in class. And buy the book!

I learned a lot from his class. You just need to do your HW and essays on time. It's a lot of work that adds up for your final grade. Do all your work! You must partake in group and class discussions, otherwise not afraid to throw you out. You may start of with rocky grades at first, but there are a lot, so in the end your grade will be fine.

Easy A if you do the work. His 3 hour class is actually like an hour and a half tops. He goes over what you need to know then your done. Don't be late or he wont accept homework (which is worth a lot of points.)

This guy really is mean/not understanding. He doesn't ever really give you a chance to explain yourself. I had a class that let out ten minutes before his class and it took five minutes to get to his class from my last class. I had bathroom issues and tried to hurry up but when I arrived even 30 seconds late he would get mad, with no explanation!!!

This guy is awful, easily one of the rudest instructors I've had. He grades biased on students he dislikes, and his writing is terrible so it's difficult to learn. The class is easy but his rudeness made it a nightmare, don't take this old man.

He does seem a bit moody and uptight but the way he teaches is extremely clear and helpful. He breaks down how to write different kinds of essays in a simple and understandable way There is a lot of work for homework and in class but it just puts in practice what he just taught. Most of it isn't too difficult.

This is a tough class. I had to work pretty hard to get my A. The class is interesting but if you miss and/or don't follow directions you will fail. There are 4 papers, 3 or them are the majority of your grade. There is no extra credit so don't ask.
