Very intelligent prof, knows subject. Lectures rapidly and puts out much information. Assignments were meaningful and graded fairly and rapidly, not too much feedback though. Willing to work around class conflicts. Learned quite a bit from his class and would take him again.

I like Dixon and his classes, but I agree that he can be as boring as sin if you aren't interested in political science. A lot of the groupwork he assigns is pointless. He has an annoying personality at first, but it grows on you. If you major in poli sci, you could do worse.

He usually doesn't know what he is talking about. Print out the review page off the internet and those are the questions off the test. Memorize that and you will get an A. Don't buy the book. Come to class though or go down a letter grade.

I took PLS 200 from two different teachers and he was definatly the easier of the two. He makes politics look good.
