He is great when you are not feeling good with physics, as he spends much time at explaining everything, and giving many examples. He gives a lot of homework online, which is quite harder than tests, so don't feel discouraged by it. We also got extra credit opp by doing homework from chapter that we didn't discuss in class. Great teacher!

He lectures on general concepts in a way to help you understand the overall topic. However, he doesnt teach specifics and his exams are very difficult, but he does give a lot of partial credit. Be ready to work for an A.

Lectures difficult concepts where easy to understand material. Lenient on grading if solving methods are correct (aka not completely wrong if answer wrong). Always open to answering questions during class/office hours. Can ace without Calc 3/Diff Eq. If invested in learning physics, take professor! Do NOT take for an easy-A. Come ready to learn.

Very caring/understanding individual if you speak with him ahead of time. He's a very logical thinker, so petty excuses won't go far. Maybe a bit monotone, but certainly able to learn from him as long as you pay attention. Gives many examples in class including visual demonstrations. Sometimes, he's a little too smart and needs to "dumb it down."

Definitely the professor to take if you want to learn the material. demonstration of concepts/calculations are highly effective. Material is tough, but he's reasonably lenient if you were using right methods. Very available to students and answers questions in a friendly manner. Will have to study, but expect mastery of the subject in the future.

Prof Carzoli is very challenging but the grade you get is the grade you deserve. If you need help make sure to go to his office hours. I learned so much in this class and I really enjoyed it... even though the material is brutal. He might give you a pop quiz so just be on your toes. Do the homework and labs to help balance bad test scores.

Carzoli is the best. I had him for physics 1-3 and I learned so much. He makes it so easy to understand and learn everything that I even used my notes from his class as reference for other higher classes after I transferred. You do have to get your work done but he is always willing to help you understand homework and labs.

Do the online Hw. They give you a boost in your grade, but it's very hard and time -consuming. He teaches well, the lectures really do help; take good notes. Exams are hard mainly because there is so much he can test you on; his study guide barely helps. Get a B on all 3 exams and quizzes, 100% on hw and labs and you'll get an A. Good luck!

His vast knowledge for physics carries over to his clear-cut (but sometimes drawn out) lectures. Super helpful: in D2L he provides lectures of the class, videos of some sections, mathematica files, etc. Ask questions and he'll answer. Labs and quizzes are easy. If you take your time to do your hw (difficult) you'll do fine on the tests.

Very knowledgeable professor. Explains topic clearly. Quizzes fairly based off lecture. You definitely need to study for this class to do well. Exams are based off lecture but also the book which you need to read on your own. If you know how to usewhen to use equations, and you understand a couple concepts, you'll do JUST fine.

Excellent at teachingexplaining, but personality is very dry. Homework and labs are standardized, but must invest a LOT of timeeffort. Beware of mental fatigue near end of semester. Quizzes typically from lecture. Exams are variations thereof. Pay attention to his insights, they'll put you ahead. Not obvious, but you'll appreciate him later

This guy is by far the worst teacher I've ever had. His class is super hard. He's a very hard grader, takes as much points off as possible. Labs are on things you don't even cover so teaches it right before you do the lab. Homework online is annoying to do and doesn't help at all. He makes everything harder than it needs to be.

Great prof. Took for physics 221-223. Very monotoned so it may get boring at times but for the most part he explains everything clearly. He makes scarcastic jokes a lot which students don't notice because of his monotoned voice, which makes it even funnier :) . No curve and very rarely gives extra credit!

As others pointed out. Really hard quizzes. Nice person, Willing to help his students. Sometimes unclear because he likes to go into unnecessary details! Would have helped if he was more specific about whats on the exam because there's a lot of stuff he can test you on.
