Worst professor I took at ESU. Do yourself a favor & don't take his class. He jumps around a lot, he's very confusing and you'll end up teaching yourself. The material isn't difficult, he just doesn't know how to teach it.

Comment:

I took Dr. Hardy for GEOG 120 and it was a good class. I liked him a lot and he is very funny. However, taking notes is a bit hard in his class so you have to pay attention. Use the book as much as you can. He gives open book quizzes and online homework, which will help your grade a lot. I would like to take a class with him again.

Honestly the worst professor I've ever had in my life. Seriously don't take his class. he's horrible at explaining things, he has like 50 things going on at once, and he's mean and does not accommodate for you at all. If I could have given him a 0 I would've.

Absolutely awful. I have never been so annoyed with a teacher in my life. I'm not the most organized person, however, hes so unorganized it makes me cringe. He is all over the place to the point where it gives me a headache. No one even takes him seriously considering this factor and others such as his nervous laughter and awful puns and jokes.

Lectures are confusing and all over the place. You'll get a quiz per week on average, but he doesn't tell you when they're coming. Quizzes are easy and you're allowed to talk to other people and use your notes. For tests, fill out the study guide, look over it a few times, and you're good to go. Not much homework. Nearly everyone gets an A or B.

I had Dr. Hardy for Physical Geography to meet general education requirements. He's not bad. He's very knowledgable in what he is teaching and he goes over everything multiple times in class to ensure students understand. He's a bit awkward and may come off as unfriendly, but he wants you to do well. Take notes and pay attention and you'll be fine.

In this class you will be learning more about weather patterns instead of actual Geography. He is a nice person but he definitely needs to get back on the geography topic. Would not recommend this class to anyone unless interested in weather patterns. Very Very boring.

When I picked this course I thought I would really like but I honestly hate it so much! The course in genereal is not that hard but he makes it harder to understand. His PowerPoint presentations are pointless & confusing! When you speak to him he doesn't look at you at all and when you email him for help he never answers you back! Withdrawing!

Worlds most boring class but easy if you show up to class and take notes. His study guides are all based off his notes so make sure to write everything down. Also make sure you know everything on the study guides for the exams. Need the online access code for hw. Book only helps with studying for exams. Drops lowest exam grade. 4 exams

His lectures are a bit unorganized because he has no idea how to use a computer. However, he is a fair professor and genuinely wants you to do well. He gives many opportunities for you to improve your grade. The class can be a bit boring, but it's not horrible. I recommend taking his class.

Snooze fest at 8am. Incredibly boring and redundant. He tries to make such an easy course appear difficult but if you read the book and have a little common sense it's an easy A. He still has an obsession with climate and weather but most professors have some preference or other. Crying inside that I have him for multiple more classes.

Easy class. He attendance is part of your grade so make sure you show up. The class is a little boring, and he dumbs the material down and repeats everything. He is an awkward guy, but just smile and pretend to be interested in what he is saying, and you'll get an A.

Awful teacher. Everytime I talked to him he wouldn't make eye contact. Harassed me about a dr's note when I had pink eye then at the end said it never mattered. Laughs at his own jokes. Would ask the class Q's and when someone would answer it right he'd correct them with a different word that means the same. Makes you feel dumb.

So Boring, Class is generally easy assumes everyone is a complete idiot, really has a hard on for the weather everyday he would talk about it. Nervous laughter and constantly says Figger, bring pillow cause you will fall asleep.
