I haven't known Dean Webster for very long, but he seems like a very nice guy and someone who is very passionate about his teaching and his studies. When he has led seminar on a couple of occasions, he has gotten so many laughs out of the class. He managed to use the f-word probably at least 10 times, and it was always tastefully in context.

I mean it's obvious; this guy doesn't have anything but great ratings. I've taken 3 of his classes, and he has been one of my favorite teachers at OU. He makes time periods of literature that would otherwise be almost unbearable to study a lot of fun, and his sense of humor is killer. Take anything you can with Jeremy Webster.

Webster is amazing!!! He stood in for one of my profs for a few days, I enjoyed his lectures so much that I signed up for two of his classes at the same time. He makes any and all material interesting and easy to relate to. He has a great sense of humor keeping things exciting, but also a great amount of knowledge to share.

Jeremy is wonderful. I took this in the summer and we had to read 4 books and write 3 papers. One book is a graphic novel. The reading is very accelerated because summer is a short quarter, but he is so nice and is a very fair grader. He lets us do open note quizzes too. No tests.

His lectures are history based and have so much information that it is impossible to write everything down. He won our class over the day he put a random slide of his cats among the endless slides of British Literature. It's a great class and you leave knowing more about England's history than you could ever desire.

All you have to do is read 5 books, write a one-page response every week, and write two papers. Scratch that. I read 2 of the books straight through, and got an A-. His classes are also extremely entertaining! He says some pretty funny crap.

The class should have been offered online. We chatted with each other on the computer when we were in the same room. Hard essays to read and one Shakespeare play.
