Very interesting teacher, sucks he was let go. I took three of his ethnic studies classes just cus I liked his lectures, even though he goes very off topic. He really did try to teach his students something, but I don't think many people took him too seriously. Everyone just saw it as an easy A.

The most fun, sweet and definitely the most entertaining teacher I've ever had. I wish he were on a t.v. show. I think he was fired because they were jealous of his popularity with the students. Bummer. I so wanted to take La Raza studies after I took his Intro to ethnic studies class, but by then he was gone. I'll always remember him and smile.

Nicest and coolest teacher i've ever had. I miss his classes. He should do televised courses. I'd watch him just for fun. He has a great sense of humor and is very entertaining. I think the other professors at CSM were jealous of professor Moya's popularity with the students.

I'll give it to you straight. While moya can be funny at times, he always goes off topic, hardly teaches anything of substance, never assigns homework, only one final that you can completely bomb and still get an a in the class with outrageous amounts of extra credit. Waste of time but the A was worth the time spent.

This guy is great. Sometimes you don't learn anything, sometimes you do. He's exactly like Tommy Chong. In looks and also personality. I stopped going to class not even half way though the semester, and I got a C.

This guy is great! He may not have the most structured course but he's a good guy. Very encouraging to his students and he will crack you up. Beware..he may pick you out of the crowd and ask you random questions with his microphone! His class is an experience, to say the least. I highly recommend taking it, and don't take yourself too seriously.

Mr Moya is a person who knows a lot what he is talking about. People don't take him too seriously because he is someone who wants to see everyone in his class pass. U get X-tra credit, but you do have to do the work for it-and it pays off. You also learn from his class--I know I have since I took interest in the class. Great teacher. TAKE HIM!!!!!!

Quite possibly one of the easiest teachers at CSM. Just go to class, laugh with Moya, do your homework, and you will get an A. The "final" is a joke, the answers are so obvious, it's not even funny! I don't know how people can get a C in this class, unless they are absent frequently or disruptive, etc. Oh, and the class is HILARIOUS.

i like him at first,i got a b. i nvr missd more than 6 days of class, did all xtra credit. my friend gt b as well & she was ALWAYS absent, only did 1 xtra credit, & didnt do final essay! but moya said u wont pass if u miss more than 6 classes, or if u dont do final essay. HE WAS EXTREMELY UNFAIR!! i did a lot more work than her & we got same grade!
