He cares about his students and their grades. I feel like he was very lenient while grading, unlike a lot of math professors. He is such a sweet heart. If you care about his class, he'll care about you. He remembers who shows up every day, and those people get treated kindly in turn. :)

Peng is such a sweet man. He really cares about his students and helping them succeed. His lectures are tough to follow because his accent is very strong, but he posts all of the work online so if something is missed you can go back to review. His reviews are exactly the same as the midterms, so if you study and go to class you will get an A+

Decent prof. He has a bit of an accent so he is a bit hard to understand sometimes, however he explains everything pretty well. If you show up to class, he gives hints on what will be on the test. For the final, he pretty much told us exactly what questions were going to be on it. Ended up using a practice exam question on the final.

If you skip Peng's lecture, you're going to fail. I went to every lecture, understood everything with clarity. You just need to actually listen. He basically gives you the answers for midterms, assignments, etc. Nice guy too, easy A

Easiest A+ I have ever received. Midterms are exactly like the practice midterms and assignments. So, if you make sure you understood how to do the assignment (which are also very easy, just follow the textbook examples) then you will do great. Any questions, go see him and he will basically tell you the answer. Great prof. Wants to see us excel.

Amazing professor and I have a man crush on him. Hard to understand so sit at front. Loves when students speak up and asks questions. Honestly, you don't need the workbook. Got an A+ without buying it. His acorn notes are his own workings throughout the whole textbook and that is MORE than you need for the easy evaluations. Love this guy. Take JP.

Dr. Peng is a great prof. He is always ready and enthusiastic. He knows what he's talking about and is always there to help. He truly cares about his students. I had a few problems with his TA and he always fixed my mark to give me what I deserved. He's tough to understand, so read the pages in advance. I would definitely recommend taking his class
