One of the best film prof I've had so far! He's so helpful and nice. He's very understanding when you get to know him. Though, his class lacks excitement but definitely show up because a lot of material is given. He knows his stuff!

I really enjoyed his lectures. He was much more clear then Antonin and didn't pick favorites! He's a fair marker, an amazing person who is always willing to talk to you outside class and doesn't pretend to be nice. Take a class with him if you can, you'll learn a whole lot.

Jim is a wonderful prof. He will tell you when you are wrong, but wont stop you from making your own mistakes anyway. He is always willing to help outside of class, and goes beyond the call of duty when it comes to helping his students with their films. He's really funny, technically smart, and just an all around great guy. one of the best

He is so sweet, you just want to hug him. Not all professors can be loud and energetic! And that's fine. The bottom line is- I learned so much from him. He is approachable and kind and makes his students feel comfortable when talking to him.
