Great guy, gives everyone a chance to pass and doesn't assign unnecessary work. Professors like this make college not only tolerable but enjoyable. I wish he had more classes, I would take him again in a heartbeat.

I took Dr. Hauser's European Literature class and even though he's a great guy, the class ended up being really dry. Most of class is centered on discussions of the readings and your interpretations so the assigned reading is absolutely neccessary. As long as you keep up with the readings, you'll do fine in his class.

He's a great guy, but a tough grader. Dr. Hauser hardly gives A's. Course went by smoothly, but dreaded going to class because it was so boring. All that is important to him is student responses to the material. His final exam was really tough, it's very important to keep up with the readings for every class (which sometimes are overwhelming).

I love this prof! A friend recommended me and I honestly looked forward to every class. Journals are 2 pgs and he let you know when they're due. Lots of reading and he's funny. No tests, but just a midterm and final essay, which you do on your own time. I really am enjoying his class!! HIGHLY recommend!

Hauser is an awesome professor, the work was straight forward, gave response journals every so often, open ended so you could write about whatever you wanted. There were 2 papers and a final, the final paper was open and had a few options for you to choose from. The discussions were interested and he is just a genuinely nice guy.

Professor Hauser is the man! I took his class and was honestly overwhelmed since i was the only non-english major but he pulled me through when i needed it most. It was quite hard not having known any european lit prior to taking this class, but, as i said, prof. Hauser helped me a ton. If you do your thing and pay attention, hes sure to like you.

Yo!! Dr. Hauser is awesome. His assignments are easy and he's awesome...and he's funny...and everything is a journal entry or an essay which he guides you through in the writing process...long readings and if he finds out that you're not reading it pisses him off by the way...but the readings were very interesting anyway...just do the work.AWESOME

just a great guy all around actually had fun writing a play for the final essay. You get a mid term and a final and a paper around the same time of the two. He makes class fun and is very funny talking about some of the plays. Just a crazy jewish guy!
