No scantrons: all short answer/essay. Grades on a curve (thankfully). Tests are mostly lecture with one question from each chapter of the book. He will help you if you ask him to. The material presented is good; but could be organized a little better.

very interesting class with a lot of material- but the tests are hard, if you enjoy the topic i highly recommend taking the class, if not though, then its not worth the pain. I liked him though, very nice man
