Hirano Sensei is one of the best teachers i have had. Don't go in thinking class is easy, this is the hardest class i have ever taken. participation in class is high. Someone said she is strict, but i didn't think so. if you are lazy she wont put up with it. I thought she is friendly and funny.

Hirano-sensei is very strict, but this is not a bad feature. Learning a second language is hard, and she understands that, and is willing to push you as much as is needed to help you learn. She is patient, kind, funny, and always willing to help. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Hirano sensei is wonderful. Yes, she may seem very strict at first, but you find that she's a very interesting person and devoted to helping her students learn Japanese. I would definitely take her class again.

Hirano-sensei is really nice and is a very good teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed her class. She'll answer unrelated questions about kanji and culture. The course is really easy, but I think the curriculum can be improved by using more kana and kanji. Great teacher. Just study the book as the oral tests are really tough, but she's an easy grader.
