She is my favorite prof so far. I went to office hours several times and it was definitely worthwhile. She is super nice and explained things really clearly without making me feel like an idiot. The tests are difficult but I studied hard core and managed to get an A

tests are very hard - go to class every day and pay very close attention or else you will get behind - class avg on tests is in the 70's on all tests - if your TA is bad i recommend switching sections, because the TA makes 10 of the 20 quizzes - just be aware this class takes twice the effort of most other classes if you haven't taken BC yet

Prof Staples is such a good teacher. Her notes are very clear and she does well explaing all of the concepts each day. She did not collect homeworks and we had 2 quizzes a week but she dropped the lowest 2 grades. Her tests are very hard and long but as long as you study they are completely manageable. Definitely a good class.

I really enjoyed her class. The tests are long and difficult, but keep up and understand the homework and study from the review sheets she gives out before the tests, they aren't that bad. She does give quizzes once a week, pretty straightforward but you have to know the material very well. Very helpful outside of class. Drop 1 grade. I liked her.

Prof Staples is a really great teacher. Her notes during class or extremely clear and helpful. She has office hours almost every day so she is very easy to reach, and shes very flexible--she let me take several tests at different times when I had a conflict. Her class is very hard but its definitely worth while if you're a math major or minor.

She is a nice person and easy to understand. VERY hard tests that often cannot be completed in the allotted time. you can understand the material and still do poorly on the tests. quizzes are ok but not easy. take anyone else if you can.

Prepare to lug your heavy textbook to class every day. She appears extraordinarily helpful/easy for the first couple of weeks, then the real "fun" starts. I found her unclear and hard to get a hold of last year. Quizes every day are no fun.

Quiz every class over previous night's HW, 3 tests, 1 group presentation, 1 final. Very nice, helpful lady. Obviously knows what she is doing and is extremely clear when teaching or explaining. Class is cut and dry, no surprises. Takes some studying to do well and you cant skip because of the quizzes. Very fair and helpful, but not a sleeper class.

By far the nicest and most helpful teacher, I have ever had. Got an A in the class, but I kept up with the homework and studied for the tests. She cares about her students and will give up her time to help you understand. She is the best!

She is an awesome teacher. She writes very clearly and goes straight through the material. Homework everynight with a take home quiz due most fridays. Tests are very fair but tough. Class went fast, but she was always very helpful outside of class and it is very apparent she enjoys teaching.
