Her first concern is making you the best student she can. She is great with late assignments and generally cares. Her teaching methods weeds out the "undesirables" in the first week. She OPTIONALLY collects cell phones at the beginning of class which enrages the type of people i dont want to sit beside anyway. If you are mature, TAKE HER CLASS

Do not take class with her. She is one of the most condescending individuals I've ever been around. She collects cell phone at the beginning of class like a first grade teacher. She assigns vague papers and is a terribly hard grader in return. She also likes to conveniently sneak assignments on Angel and not tell you about it. AVOID.

Okay so I went from an Honors English class in High School, to (by choice) this remedial class in college. Although she is a nice person, and towards the end of the semester really had me engaged, this class was not an easy A, in fact I ended up getting a B. But if one honestly has the desire to work harder than most, hopefully an A is possible.

Where to Start! She wears the same color (tan)everyday (crazy). Murley told me that i was late if i wasn't in the class before she arrived no matter what time class started. Then she has the nerve to take off grade points for being late or missed classes. I was 1of4 black students at the time and she would confuse me with another(very annoying) .

she is entertaining, but in class assignments are irrelevant. i have learned nothing from her. in high school i got 90's on all my papers...i havent gotten over a 72 so far. she grades way to hard for not teaching anything. and her grading makes no sense...she will deduct 2to 3 points for no apparent reason. avoid. she is out of her mind.

Avoid at all costs. she does nothing useful to the class and grades so harshly that one mistake one your paper is all ready a B. wont let you write about anything interesting and probably pulls a grade out of a hat at the begging of class and gives that for every paper. definately avoid if you have tattoos or non ear piercings she judges quickly

I didn't really like her has a teacher..but she was managable. In class you do dumb activities and then are expected to write a bunch of papers that she grades pretty harshly..but you usually get chances to fix them. Theres homework that helps your grade out & NO tests. So all and all it's an OK/managable class.

dont take her if you can help it. she is the worst teach you could have. She makes fun of things that should not be made fun of (ie. disease that one cant help). I hate this class. I would rather be in calculus than this class. It makes more sense.

Very good teacher, very enthusiastic about what she does, which many can find overwhelming, but I found it interesting. She expects a lot out of people, but if you try you can get an A relatively easily. Lotsa work, but good experiences.

GRR! She is extremely unclear. She has favorites in her classes (mostly boys). She can't remember anyone's name. She never gives out As. She expects you to read her mind! Trust me, I'm pretty good in English and I've never gotten below an A in any English class. Do not take her.
