Comment:

Best Professor in the state of WI! He is really intelligent and knows what he's teaching. Covers more material than other profs and explains everything thoroughly. He's not a tough grader if you demonstrate that you understand concepts. If you make a minor error, you won't lose many points. If you make a conceptual error, he rightfully takes off.

He is extremely bright and teaches very well. Yes, ALMOST NOTHING YOU DO WILL IMPRESS HIM. Our team did impress him at times. He can seem like a jerk sometime, but he's a great professor overall. He is paranoid about cheating. Still, I recommend that you take him...you will learn A LOT!

Clifton is a terrible professor. He is very very smart and knows what he is talking about but no matter how hard you try in his class nothing will impress him. Nothing you do is right. He can also come off as being a jerk when you ask him for help.

He's a great professor. He knows the materials very well. His knowledge in programming is undeniable. He may come off "mean" at times when answering student questions, but just because students (me) didn't study. His exams are easy (b/c they're practically identical to his practice exams). eople who rate him low for CS143 are the ones who skip.

Clifton's an awesome guy. He makes everything really easy to understand and you can do fine in his class as long as you're not a dumbass. Quizzes and tests are easy and just like any practice tests. Programs are easy enough if you just don't procrastinate.
