Take Home exams except for the Final. He teaches using power-points but he is funny so it doesn't seem too bad. Nice guy and easy on grades. There is an final auditing projectpaper that can be confusing but again don't sweat it too much as he is easy on grades.

Took Joe's introduction to financial accounting class over the summer and I thought he was tremendous and made me appreciate accounting. Especially for teaching a course with lots of material in only a month, he did a great job introducing the subject as a whole. He prepares you will for exams and gives you a good indication of what will be on it.

He is a great guy. Even though the subject is a drag, he makes it very interesting and very comprehensible. He uses sense of humor and real life situations too, which is a relief. He's always available to help, and usually that shows him you care so he will curve more at the end. I highly recommend. Cook teacher for a bad class.

i thought he would be great prof, but very hard tests. Tends to favor people. Very busy person and not available for office hours. Took accounting in hs before so i thought this class would be cake, but he made it very difficult. you have to self study alot, he tends to go really quick gonna switch majors now. ;[

He is HOT!!! As in-it was hard to focus in class. He is also such a businessman and a great teacher. So helpful, clear, dynamic, fair and funny. I won't say he is easy because you do have to pay attention and study for his exams-but the course is well structured and fair-just gover yourself. I wish I could take him again just to look at him again.

Take him for Ind/Bus Taxation if you can. He's a CPA who runs his own tax office in NJ, so he knows his stuff and knows how to teach it. Nice guy, 3 tests but you can have anything you want to help you out (book/notes/etc). He tries to get everyone to participate a little and if you do it helps out your grade.

The tests are open book but are challenging. If you use the book for most of the problems, you will run out of time. OK professor - overrated in my opinion. He knows his stuff and if you pay attention, you will find it helpful in your career. VERY BIG ON CLASS PARTICIPATION - it will make a difference up to a letter grade.

All I gotta say is take him. He is sooo funny and he is soo cute when he gets all excited about tax. I struggled a lot in this course, but just having him as my professor made me want to do better and work harder for him. The best teacher I've had so far.

Absolutely the best acctg professor at fordham. he breaks down the material into such simple terms so that everyone gets it. you can't get much easier than having open book and notes for the exams. he even curves generously just b/c he's such a nice guy. an A is def possible. def take lizza every chance you get. funny and not bad to look at either.

Had him this Summer for Into. to Fin. Acctg., and the class was a dream. He was very knowledgable and entertaining, and made what could have been a tedious and boring class, a veritable breeze to get through. I will most definitely take him again! P.S. He is very big on class participation.
