If you're in the News Media program, you'll probably have to have a class from him. He's unorganized, scatter brained and has a tendency to show and play favorites. As a person, he is a good man. As a professor, he's pretty bad. If he doesn't like the subject of a project you're doing, you grade will suffer. Do what he wants you to do & you'll pass

Professor Campbell is the best! He can be a bit unorganized, but he is super nice and gives lots of extra credit. He really cares about journalism and he's a really good teacher. I'm planning to take as many classes from him as possible!

Professor Campbell is one of the sweetest professors you will ever meet. He is so passionate about journalism and his students and takes pride in their work. The quizzes he gives are really simple and if you do all the assignments he gives, there is not way you won't get an A. He gives a lot of extra-credit and is super understanding!!

Bro Campbell is the sweetest man! Make friends with him, as he knows literally everyone and can score you some great connections! There are a ton of fun activities in this class that prepare you for journalism. He's a bit disorganized, but will almost always reopen something for you if you missed it. Even if you aren't going to study NM take this!

He is a fun teacher. I'm taking a class from him again in the coming fall semester. The homework was interesting and very interactive. He is very excited about the news field which makes his lectures interesting. If you show up and do the work like he asks you'll get an A because he wants everyone to succeed. There's no trickery in the grading.

He is a great professor but is not always very clear when it comes to assignments. He is very willing to help and is very easily accessible over email. There were a lot of papers and assignments but they were not very difficult, and if they were he was ready to help. This is a great class and I learned a lot.

Professor Campbell was great! He was willing to help out and would adjust his syllabus to fit the classes needs. You could definitely tell he wanted the best for his students because he made himself available and was constantly communicating with us through email.

Campbell seemed disorganized, but eventually, we understood his way of doing things. He's knowledgeable & is willing to work with students by changing due dates, removing some assignments & altering them to help us get them done. Labs/quizzes every class. He went over assignments due every week to help keep us on track. Extra credit available.

Prof. Campbell was such a great professor. Even though this class was just 1.5 credits, it taught me so much more. He goes out of his way to provide unique opportunities for students and help us understand the news media world better. Take his class, you won't regret it!

Professor Campbell is caring and intelligent. He expresses real genuine interest in his students success. He always makes an effort to enhance learning with experiences outside of the classroom. My one critique would be sometimes he is a little too willing to give out extra credit. He is a very accomplished individual- ask about his achievements.

He is really understanding and does everything he can to help you if your confused. The problem is you can be confused a lot. He is sometimes a bit absentminded but he is super fair, and while he expects you to put in effort he is a very generous grader. Good professor!

Professor Campbell is the nicest guy. He allows you to learn mainly through real world experience, which is awesome for this field! The readings aren't bad, and the quizzes are open book. He offers a lot of extra credit opportunities, which makes it impossible to fail. Would HIGHLY recommend this class from him!

He really cares about his students and wants them to succeed! Some assignments are done in class while others require outside interviews/ effort. The workload was a bit fast-paced for the Spring semester, time management is a must. The schedule can at sometimes be confusing, but he clarifies things if you simply ask! Great professor overall!
