at first I thought he was going to be the man and hilarious, but turns out he is just very opinionated and annoying. there is a lot of unnecessary busy work involved in the class, very little direction or structure, and I learned absolutely nothing from his class. if the other professor in our LC hadn't been so awesome, i would have hated it

the guys the man, i honestly enjoyed going to his class, didnt miss many for legit reasons and i dont say this often, funny stories and the class is wicked easy if u get him excited in his convos, the stupidest things you have to say he absolutely loves and the rest of the class has fun and it goes by smoother OHRENS THE MAN peace

I liked the literature part a lot better than the philosophy part. Ohren is much clearer and more thought-provoking. He isn't confused or duped by Marxist theory because he actually went to the Soviet Union and witnessed what it means. Too bad Velasquez didn't!

He's an okay teacher. He assigns interesting writing topics. Besides that, he talks about everyday things and frankly THE MAN HAS NO BOUNDARIES. It's understood that you're in college and should be comfortable with certain topics.Controversial or not!!
