One of the most entertaining and engaging professors I have ever had. I looked forward to his class every day. I have ADHD but he was very good at keeping me totally engaged in what was going on. A very caring teacher who will work with you. 1000% recommend.

Honestly my favorite professor that I've had at St. Vincent. He gives amazing lectures and keeps you interested the whole time by telling his personal experiences with whatever subject he is speaking of. Overall, such a great guy and he's hilarious as well. Pay attention in class and you'll get an A. Highly recommend for any class he offers.

Do not miss an opportunity to take a course from this professor. He is by far one of St. Vincent's best kept secrets.I couldn't begin to say enough good qualities about this professor. I will say if you end up taking a course from him you will not only walk away with a great understanding of the course but you will walk away a better human being!

Dr. Aupperle is the best teacher you will have at Saint Vincent College. The Religious Beliefs of Abraham Lincoln is a wonderful class. And if you have the opportunity you should take this class. Exams are straightforward and lectures are excellent. I enjoy going to class and never want class to end!

He is very well rounded. He knows what he is talking about at all times. He lives and teaches through his life experiences and really cares about the opinions that the students have. His lectures always seem to give inspiration and motivation. His test are essays and he is really fair. As long as you know the material you will pass

Dr. Aupperle is tremendously knowledgeable and hilarious. You will leave his class with a greater understanding of theology and enjoy every 1h and 30 min class you attend. I have been at St. Vincent for 3 years and i have never been more inspired to learn than when i was in Dr. Aupperle's class.

Seriously the best teacher at Saint Vincent. As a science major i did not like taking core but he seriously is amazing and makes you love the class. His test are straightforward, and he is not trying to trick anyone. He has a passion for teaching and it shows. He is a well kept secret at SVC. If you are thinking about taking him.. DO IT!

Chose Dr. Aupperle for religion in America. Class consisted of 3 writing exams and a research project. As long as you are able to formulate a reasonable essay on your exams and you turn your research essay in on time then you should receive a B or higher in the class. Attendance wasn't mandatory and he was interesting/fun to listen to in class.

I enjoyed the class, but felt that Dr. Aupperle was biased. His grading is radical and is not backed with reason. As a person, I thought Dr. Aupperle was very kind and had a good sense of humor, but maybe teaching wasn't his best idea.

Kind, open-minded and sincere. Take lots of notes and pay close attention--you cannot slack off in his classes and expect a good grade. He provides a larger view of religion, which may be helpful to the sheltered Catholic SVC type.
